A little dragon was sitting under a lemon tree. He was crying quietly, covering his tear-stained face with his little wings.
Sometimes life seems so difficult that you lose any hope of continuing on. The little dragon thought so. In fact, he had already resigned himself to the idea that the only option was to give up.
But suddenly a lemon fell on his head! He rubbed the back of his head and looked up, and another lemon fell on his forehead. The little dragon blinked his eyes and saw that a little yellow dragon was hiding in the leaves of the tree!
- What are you sad about? - Asked the little yellow dragon, and threw another lemon at the sad Hatchling.
- Stop it! - The sad little dragon frowned.
- Okay, okay, - Lemon Dragon rolled his eyes and flapped his wings, fluttered out of the leaves and sat down next to the little dragon.
They sat in silence for some time.
- So you're going to tell me what happened? - The Lemon Dragon asks.
- I don't know what to do anymore. - The other one answers. - I've lost all hope...
The Lemon Dragon smiles and holds out a lemon.
- After hardship comes happiness!
- Yeah, and when life gives you lemons - make lemonade. - The sad little dragon rolls his eyes.
- Life never gave people lemons. We made them ourselves.

작은 용 한 마리가 레몬 나무 아래에 앉아 있었어요. 작은 날개로 눈물로 젖은 얼굴을 가리고 조용히 울고 있었죠.
때로는 삶이 너무 힘들어서 더 이상 살아갈 희망을 잃을 때도 있잖아요. 작은 용은 그렇게 생각했어요. 사실, 포기하는 것 외에는 다른 선택지가 없다고 이미 마음을 굳혔었죠.
그런데 갑자기 레몬 하나가 머리 위로 떨어졌어요! 작은 용은 머리를 긁적이며 위를 올려다봤는데, 또 다른 레몬이 이마에 떨어졌어요. 눈을 깜빡이자 작은 노란 용이 나뭇잎 속에 숨어 있는 게 보였어요!
- 뭐가 그렇게 슬퍼? - 작은 노란 용이 슬픈 아기 용에게 레몬 하나를 더 던지며 물었어요.
- 그만해! - 슬픈 작은 용은 얼굴을 찡그렸어요.
- 알았어, 알았어. - 레몬 용은 눈을 굴리며 날개를 퍼덕이고 나뭇잎 속에서 휙 나와 작은 용 옆에 앉았어요.
둘은 한동안 말없이 앉아 있었어요.
- 그래서 무슨 일이 있었는지 말해줄 거야? - 레몬 용이 물었어요.
- 이제 어떻게 해야 할지 모르겠어. - 다른 용이 대답한다.
희망을 완전히 잃었어…
레몬 용이 미소를 지으며 레몬 하나를 내민다.
- 고난 뒤에는 행복이 온다!
- 맞아, 인생이 레몬을 준다면 레모네이드를 만들어야지. - 슬픈 작은 용이 눈을 굴린다.
- 인생이 사람들에게 레몬을 준 적은 없어. 우리가 직접 만든 거지.
