어느 날, 옥팔찌용은 가게 문이 열리는 소리에 잠에서 깼습니다. 어린 소년이 들어왔는데, 얼굴에는 불안한 기색이 역력했고, 찢어지고 더러워진 셔츠를 입고 있었습니다. 옥팔찌용은 주인이 장을 보러 나갔고, 금방 돌아오지 않을 것을 알고 있었습니다. "이 손님은 내가 직접 상대해야겠군!" 그는 생각했습니다.

Story (The lucky Jade Bangle)
There was once a Jade Bangle Dragon who lived in an Antique shop with its Tamer. As the Antique shop was not very popular, there was nothing much for the dragon to do, hence it spent its days curling lazily in its tamers arms.
One day, Jade Bangle Dragon woke up to the sound of the shop door opening. A little boy walked in. He had a nervous expression on his face, and he wore a torn and dirty shirt. Jade Bangle dragon knew that his tamer was out to buy groceries, and will not be back so soon. “I guess I have to settle this customer on my own!” He thought.
The Jade Bangle dragon slithered towards the counter. “Hello customer! Is there anything you are looking for today?” He asked with a smile. The little boy seemed shocked to see the dragon appear from behind the counter, but once he recovered from his shock, he quietly stuttered, “um, do you… sell anything that can heal?”
“Hmm yes we do!! Jade bangles can help to heal anyone who wears them! We have a few different colours here, feel free to look!” The dragon exclaimed. The little boy looked into the glass case, eyes sparkling as he saw the beautiful jade bangles. “What is the cheapest one you got?” He asked nervously. “This is all I have…” The little boy opened a small pouch from his pocket, and a 10 dollar note fell out.
Jade bangle dragon blinked in surprise. “Well… our cheapest one is still over 100 dollars… I am sorry, I cannot sell any of them to you.” He apologised. The little boy nodded slowly and looked down. Suddenly, he started crying! “Oh no! Please don’t cry!!” The dragon exclaimed. “Um… is there a good reason why you want the jade bangle? Maybe I could give you a discount!”
Wiping his tears, the boy stammered, “My… my mom has fallen very ill recently, and I am really worried about her! I thought that if I bought something to heal her, she could get better!” Hearing this, Jade Bangle dragon felt sorry for the little boy. The dragon looked down at the jade bangles around his neck. He really loved them, but he knew that they had healing and luck abilities. After some thought, he took one of his jade bangles and passed it to the boy. “Here, you can give this to your mom. Please return it to me once she gets better.” “Really? Thank you so much!!! I promise I will give it back!!” The boy exclaimed, in tears of joy now. Excitedly, he ran out of the shop.
A few months later, Jade bangle dragon got abruptly woken up by the sound of excited screaming. He looked up to see the little boy running happily towards him. “Thank you dragon!!! With your jade bangle, my mom slowly started to get better and now she has fully recovered! Here is your jade bangle, you can have it back!” Seeing the joy that he had brought the child, the dragon felt pride well up in him, and something seemed to have changed in him. From then on, Jade Bangle dragon started to lend his accessories to others who faced challenges.
