“This egg remembers it's surroundings”
A grey egg, no bigger than a soccer ball. The camera lens in the middle seems to react to changes in light, preferring darker areas.

“The hatch is curious about everything it encounters”
Young camera dragons aren't able to control it's shutter very well, so it's photos don't usually come out the best. It's glider still needs time to grow before it can take off. Camera dragon hatches are curious about everything they see and are always looking to see more.

“This hatchling explores the world”
Camera dragon hatchlings have surprisingly good memory, and even better photographic abilities. It takes photos of any new thing it sees, especially now that it has better control of the camera on it's chest. The film it makes collects in it's glider and the finished photos print out from it's tail, and it loves to show off these photos to others.

“This dragon photographs even the most secluded areas”
Whether it's a high up mountain or a deep cave, the camera dragon braves any enviroment, remembering what it learns and photographing it's findings for others to see as well. It makes film from the fibers it eats, allowing it to take as many photos as it pleases, the sliders on it's front legs letting it take photos with different angles or lighting.
Camera dragons are typically very kind, but not always the most social. While they enjoy traveling with a few others, they will usually avoid larger groups or commotion. They're known for taking requests from people or dragons, offering photos it's taken throughout it's travels and happily talking about them. Camera dragons take pride in their knowlege of nature, and even as adults, always look to see and learn more. They don't often fight, as they usually avoid conflict, but can hold their own in a pinch. The film that comes from their tail is made primarily of the plant fibers it eats, and some camera dragons are able to make colored photos if they eat a variety of fruits. Adult camera dragons can make short videos, but most strongly prefer not to.

Story
A lone camera dragon glided across a valley, surveying the area. It noticed a duo of kids, seemingly saddened. The dragon landed nearby and approached the two.
“What's wrong? Are you two lost?”
The kids shook their heads, one pointing up to a mountain peak.
“We want to see the top of the mountains, but it's so high up. We don't know how to get up there…”
The camera dragon nodded. There were no roads or trails to get up the mountain easily. The dragon offered to help the two up, which they happily accepted.
On the way up, the dragon pointed out several plants and rocks it noticed along the way, talking about each one. When the mountain got too steep to easily walk, the two kids held onto the dragon as it climbed up.
The three safely got to the peak, gasping in awe at the view. You could see miles away, forests, fields, the kids could even see the town they lived at from up here. The two kids thanked the dragon.
“Wow, I almost don't want to go back down, it's so pretty. I don't want to forget this…”
The camera dragon smiled and nodded.
“You don't have to forget it.”
The dragon brought the two close, activating it's camera to take the perfect picture for the two.
