When it encountered the mosquito it remembered, it swung the swatter and struck it, causing the mosquito to get zapped. Mogichae has an excellent and sharp memory, and it can distinguish which mosquito bothered itself or its trainer.

Story
A Small Battle on the Grassland
On a grassland, there lived a dragon named Mogichae Ryong. He slowly wandered around, quietly watching the clouds drift across the blue sky. Sometimes, he lay down on the grass to bask in the sunlight and thought to himself:
“Today feels really peaceful, doesn’t it?”
But after a while, a mosquito suddenly flew over and provoked him.
“I’m going to bother you!!
Try to catch me if you can!
I’ll fly really fast, so you’ll never be able to hit me!!”
Mogichae Ryong jumped up and looked around, searching for the annoying mosquito, but it was nowhere to be seen. Growing irritated, he said,
“Uh… where did the mosquito go? It was definitely here just a moment ago…? I’ll definitely catch that evil mosquito! Hmph!”
The tail behind him slowly lifted up, and a faint crackling sound came from the electric racket-shaped net. He stood still and held his breath. He knew well—mosquitoes always return when their opponent lets their guard down.
Taking advantage of that moment, the mosquito flew back to bother him again. But just then, he turned his body and attacked. His tail sliced through the air, and electricity flashed like a brief bolt of lightning.

The mosquito staggered and said:
“You’re… really strong and smart…”
With those words, the mosquito fainted on the spot.
He remained standing for a moment, making sure everything was truly quiet. The small bell on his ear gently jingled, as if giving himself a tiny compliment. He then lowered his tail, relaxed, and lay back down on the grass to enjoy the sunlight once more.
It was only a small thing, but he felt strangely proud and said:
“Ha! I finally caught the mosquito..!”

초원 위에는 모기채 룡이라는 용이 살고 있었습니다. 그는 천천히 주변을 거닐며, 푸른 하늘 위로 흘러가는 구름을 조용히 바라보고 있었습니다. 가끔은 풀밭에 누워 햇볕을 쬐며 이렇게 생각했습니다.
“오늘은 정말 평화롭네, 그렇지?”
하지만 잠시 후, 갑자기 한 마리의 모기가 날아와 그를 도발했습니다.
“내가 널 괴롭혀 주겠어!!
잡아 보시지?
난 아주 빠르게 날 테니까, 넌 절대 나를 못 잡을 거야!!”
모기채 룡은 벌떡 일어나 주위를 둘러보며 그 얄미운 모기를 찾았지만, 어디에도 보이지 않았습니다. 점점 짜증이 난 그는 말했습니다.
“어… 모기 어디 갔지? 아까 분명 있었는데…? 반드시 그 못된 모기를 잡고 말 거야! 흥!”
뒤쪽의 꼬리가 천천히 들어 올려졌고, 전기 모기채 모양의 그물에서 타닥타닥 작은 소리가 났습니다. 그는 가만히 서서 숨을 죽였습니다. 모기는 상대가 방심한 순간에 반드시 다시 나타난다는 것을 잘 알고 있었기 때문입니다.
그 틈을 노려 모기가 다시 날아와 그를 괴롭히려 했지만, 바로 그 순간 몸을 돌려 공격했습니다. 꼬리가 공기를 가르며 휘둘러졌고, 짧은 번개처럼 전기가 번쩍였습니다.

모기는 비틀거리며 말했습니다.
“너… 정말 강하고 똑똑하구나…”
그 말을 끝으로, 모기는 그대로 기절해 버렸습니다.
그는 잠시 그대로 서서 주변이 완전히 조용해졌는지 확인했습니다. 귀에 달린 작은 방울이 살짝 흔들리며, 마치 스스로를 칭찬하는 듯한 소리를 냈습니다. 곧 꼬리를 내리고 긴장을 풀며, 다시 풀밭에 누워 햇볕을 쬐었습니다.
아주 작은 일이었지만, 그는 왠지 모르게 무척 자랑스러웠고 이렇게 말했습니다.
“하하! 드디어 모기를 잡았네..!”
