Hatch

“This hatch gets scared when it is quiet”

It is small and fuzzy when it first hatches. Very talkative and noisy, and becomes uneasy if the surrounding area goes quiet. It is happiest when music is playing or there is friendly commotion in the area. It's tail is able to plug into sound systems, though the resulting sound is somewhat scratchy.

The lights and switches on it's limbs are functional and change with the dragon's mood. It will become annoyed or irritated if you try to mess with the switches.

Story

“Loud and proud!”

The subwoofer dragon walked happily through the thriving festival, singing to the music. It interacted with many dragons and people, with spirits high and the commotion all around. As the dragon walked, it saw a young kid near the sound system, seeming rather down. The dragon approached the kid and talked to them.

“You seem upset, little one. What may be wrong?”

The kid sighed and stood up, meeting the dragon's gentle gaze.

“I don't feel like I fit in… there's so many people and they all seem so different. No one seems to like what I like, no one seems to relate to me.”

The dragon thought for a moment, and then tilted its head to the side, a faint smile on it's face.

“It can feel that way sometimes. But no one said you have to be like everyone else. You should just be yourself instead! Don't let anyone stop you from being you.”

The dragon ushered the kid into the festival, with a cheerful expression. The kid looked back at the dragon with a hint of unease.

“But how will I make friends if I'm not like the others?”

The dragon laughed and shook it's head.

“You don't have to change yourself for others. No matter how different you may seem, you should embrace who you are, and be proud to express yourself!”

The kid smiled to the dragon's enthusiasm, and looked back to the thriving festival.

“Express myself? Where do I even start?”

The dragon turned to the sound system, playing music to the festival, and walked over to it.

“Well, what's your favorite song?”
