Luminous shares her light with anyone who may need it, generating her own bioluminescent scales to help.
I have made my promise my friends, there is no more need for fear, let the warmth guide you, let peace guide you. The dark may be scary, but it's okay to be afraid, for friends are always near.

A different side to the Darkness
The moon floated high above the quiet ocean water, silver ripples dancing where the dock's old boards creaked. A little girl sat at the edge, her legs swinging just above the water. She hugged her knees, staring at her reflection trembling with the night breeze. The darkness all around seemed too big, too endless, and she felt very small.
She goes to get up, but her foot slips. With a cry, she tumbled into the cold water. Panic rushed through her as the lake swallowed her, heavy and endless. She flailed, lungs burning, until shadows moved beneath her.
From the depths, a shape emerged-vast, glowing. A giant leviathan dragon rose, her long body coiled with shimmering scales that glowed like drifting stars. Gentle eyes met the girl's as the dragon pressed close and exhaled a warm, glowing breath into her. Suddenly, the girl found she could breathe.
The dragon lifted her up, guiding her safely to the surface. Trembling, the girl whispered, “Thank you… but I'm still scared of the dark.”
The great leviathan dragon tilted her head before smiling and diving back in, beckoning with a curl of her glowing tail. Hesitant but curious, the girl clung to her and together they descended into the deepest waters. Down, down, into the blackness.
Then the dragon's scales lit up brighter, casting radiant blues and greens, painting the darkness in color. Around them bloomed fields of glowing coral, schools of fish like falling sparks, and plants that pulsed like lanterns. The night beneath the water was alive with beauty.
The girl's fear melted into awe. She pressed her hand against the giant dragon's warm, glowing side. “The dark isn't empty at all,” she thought. “It's Luminous.”
