This egg is wrapped in a warm, thick scarf. 

It is found among piles of leaves. The thick scarf around the egg looks handmade. Soft feathers cover the outside of the colorful eggshell. The egg itself is so small, it’s easy to miss.

In a quiet village, during the autumn season, villagers sweep up piles of fallen leaves. 

The children of the village would wait until the piles grew tall, before leaping in them to play. 

One day, a little boy noticed a red scarf poking out of one of the piles. 

When he touched it, a Scarf Dragon popped out of the leaves, startling the boy.

When he saw the dragon’s joyful expression he asked, “Would you like to play with us?”

The dragon excitedly jumped out of the leaf pile and joined the children. 

They jumped and danced among the piles and falling leaves, twirling and laughing like leaves caught in an autumn breeze.

The Scarf Dragon wished to thank the boy for inviting him to play.

The next morning, the boy found a new handmade scarf on his doorstep, with a single bright orange leaf.

Design Notes

The colors for the Scarf Dragon are inspired by a small migrating bird, the Blackburnian Warbler.

The Scarf Dragon has fluffy tall ears, bird-like front feet, and feathered wings. The base of the dragon’s tail is feathered. The end of the tail has a large, single feather that resembles a yellow leaf in autumn. The scarf is red with golden accents near the ends. The ends have five golden tassels each. 

스카프 드래곤의 색상은 작은 철새인 블랙번 워블러에서 영감을 받았습니다.

스카프 드래곤은 털이 많고 긴 귀, 새와 같은 앞발, 깃털이 달린 날개를 가지고 있습니다. 드래곤 꼬리의 밑부분은 깃털이 있습니다. 꼬리 끝에는 가을의 노란 잎과 비슷한 크고 단일 깃털이 있습니다. 스카프는 빨간색이고 끝 부분에 금색 악센트가 있습니다. 끝에는 각각 금색 술이 5개 있습니다.
