EGG

This egg has a pearl embedded in it.

이 달걀에는 진주가 박혀있습니다.

The egg gives off a strange toxin, and lies inside a clam shell; The clam seems immune to the egg's toxins.

알은 이상한 독소를 방출하고 조개 껍질 안에 있습니다. 조개는 계란의 독소에 면역인 것 같습니다.

HATCH

It is especially interested in black pearls.

특히 흑진주에 관심이 많다.

The hatch is still developing its toxins. It protects itself in the meantime with a clam shell, from which it also harvests its coveted pearls.

해치는 여전히 독소를 개발하고 있습니다. 그 동안에는 조개 껍질로 자신을 보호하며, 그 껍질에서 탐나는 진주도 수확합니다.

HATCHLING

This hatchling is fiercely protective of its black pearls.

이 부화한 새끼는 검은 진주를 맹렬하게 보호합니다.

Cultivating its appearance from the black pearls of the clam, this hatchling crafts jewelry and trinkets from its treasures. Be weary,  however, because this hatchling can use its horn to inject deadly toxins.

조개의 검은 진주로 외모를 가꾸는 이 부화체는 보물에서 장신구와 장신구를 만듭니다. 하지만 이 부화된 새끼는 뿔을 사용하여 치명적인 독소를 주입할 수 있으므로 주의하세요.

DRAGON

This dragon will protect its pearls with deadly toxins.

The adult Pearlshell dragon has completely developed its toxins, which are secreted from its long, shell-like horn. It uses this exclusively to protect the clam and its pearls, considering them personal treasures.

다 자란 펄쉘 드래곤은 껍질처럼 생긴 긴 뿔에서 분비되는 독소를 완전히 발달시켰습니다. 이것은 조개와 진주를 개인 보물로 간주하여 보호하기 위해 독점적으로 사용됩니다.

Story: A Toll to Pay

이야기: 지불해야 할 통행료

There was a disturbance in the reef. Emerging from the clam, the Pearlshell looked around.

“Humans!” It thought, watching their movements carefully.

Divers were scouting the reef, and they were coming closer to the clam. Closer.. and closer.. and..

“There!” The Pearlshell shot out of the shell, narrowly missing stinging one of the divers with its horn.

Startled by this, the divers stared at the dragon, and the dragon met their gaze in turn. For several minutes, they sat like this, until one of the divers reached a hand out towards the dragon. 

The Pearlshell reared back, preparing another strike, but stopped when it spotted something twinkle in the diver's hand. It took the object being offered, carefully looking it over. It was a beautiful  gemstone from the surface, that twinkled when the light hit it. 

Pleased by this gift, the dragon nodded, and an understanding was reached- Humans were now permitted to explore the Pearlshell's reef, so long as they bring it a new treasure every time they visit.

암초에 소란이 일어났습니다. 조개에서 나온 진주조개는 주위를 둘러보았습니다.

“인간들!” 그들의 움직임을 유심히 관찰하면서 생각했다.

다이버들은 암초를 정찰하고 있었고 조개에 더 가까이 다가가고 있었습니다. 더 가까이.. 더 가까이.. 그리고..

"거기!" Pearlshell은 껍질에서 튀어 나와 다이버 중 한 명을 뿔로 쏘는 것을 간신히 놓쳤습니다.

이에 잠수부들은 깜짝 놀라 용을 바라보았고, 용은 차례로 그들과 시선을 맞췄다. 몇 분 동안 그들은 잠수부 중 한 명이 용을 향해 손을 뻗을 때까지 이렇게 앉아 있었습니다.

Pearlshell은 뒤로 물러나 또 다른 공격을 준비했지만 다이버의 손에서 반짝이는 무언가를 발견하자 멈췄습니다. 제공되는 물건을 주의 깊게 살펴보았습니다. 빛을 받으면 반짝반짝 빛나는 표면이 아름다운 보석이었습니다.

이 선물에 만족한 용은 고개를 끄덕였고 이해가 이루어졌습니다. 이제 인간은 방문할 때마다 새로운 보물을 가져오는 한 진주조개 암초를 탐험하는 것이 허용되었습니다.
