Sapphire Dragon (a gem species like Emerald)

Description:
Egg- Deep blue in color, this Egg is wearing a crown.
Hatch- The sapphire on this Hatch's forehead is very small.
Hatchling- This Hatchling can use the power of sapphires.
Adult- It is a Light dragon with a sapphire embedded in its forehead.  Is skilled in using water and lightning elements, and it enjoys grooming to maintain a pristine look. 
It floats serenely and greatly enjoys collecting gems.

It is known for being friendly and calm, but does not like the company of other Dragons of opposing elements.

They are born with a sapphire on their forehead and this is the source of their power, similar to the Emerald Dragon. Its power enables the use of elements similar to its own, and it enhances partner Dragons' elements, making the Sapphire Dragon a powerful ally in battle.

(*note: not in story- the female Sapphire will only breed with other Light, Lightning, Dream, Wind, and Water elements, like how Emerald male only breeds with other Emeralds)

Egg- Like the Emerald Dragon, its egg is fragile. If it is damaged, it is especially vulnerable and may not hatch at all. It is known that placing the Egg under a full moon with a warm heat source underneath will allow it to heal and hatch quickly. Some anecdotal reports claim the Egg will fully heal if placed under a blue moon, no matter the severity of injury.
Hatch- The Sapphire Hatch is especially vulnerable to sounds, and learns almost everything by its audible qualities. If there is a loud sound, it will panic and cry or hide quickly. Care must be taken not to startle it during Hatch stage.
Hatchling- As Hatchling, it becomes more sure of itself, and grooms frequently. It is especially fond of fruit and dairy foods. It is at this stage where it begins searching for pretty rocks or gems and slowly begins a collection. 
Adult- It fully develops its sapphires and its associated powers, allowing it to enhance other dragons' elements if they are aligned with it. Females will only partner with other dragons of Light, Lightning, Dream, Wind, and Water elements. Its ornaments are said to shine brightly on full moons, sometimes attracting the attention of other moon aligned dragons.

The quality of its mane determines the abilities and power, and it is said that an especially silky mane indicates ethereal qualities, such as sensing other dimensions like Dimension Dragon. As this ability is exceptionally rare, less than 5 known cases were ever documented.

Story:
In the Crystal Mine, an Emerald Dragon was going on a Dispatch expedition for its tamer. It found an unusual Egg that had not been discovered before, so it brought it back for the Tamer to nurture.

As the Tamer nurtured it, he made a few mistakes, but noticed that on nights of the Full Moon, the egg was fully healed.

Once the dragon hatched, he noticed it was similar to Emerald but was deep blue instead of green. It was then that he realized, a cousin to Emerald had now been found, and he named it the Sapphire Dragon. With its powers, it was easily able to protect and heal its Tamer's village during each Full Moon that arrived.
