This guide explains the foundation of RUBY, the core currency of R.O.H.A.N.2 Global. Whether you are a Web2 player enjoying the game or a Web3 user exploring blockchain features, everything starts with RUBY.
What is RUBY?
RUBY is the main premium currency of R.O.H.A.N.2
It exists in three connected forms:
- RUBY (In-Game Currency): Used for gachas, exchange fees, and special items.
- sRUBY (Settlement RUBY): Obtained when trading RUBY in the in-game exchange.
- RUBYx (On-Chain Token): The blockchain version of RUBY, tradable on the DEX.
ROHANomics Quick Look
How RUBY flows:
1. Play the game and earn or use CRON.
2. Buy and spend RUBY in the in-game shop.
3. RUBY is exchanged into sRUBY through the in-game exchange.
4. sRUBY can be converted into RUBYx through CROSS RAMP.
5. RUBYx can be freely traded with CROSS in the DEX.
6. CROSS can be withdrawn to external exchanges (CEX) and converted into real currency.
This creates a smooth connection between in-game currency and the real economy.
RUBY Allocation
- Total Supply: 1 billion RUBY (fixed).
- 100% allocated for in-game play.
- No developer or team allocation – all RUBY belongs to the players.
1. RUBY Vault
All RUBY spent in-game moves into the RUBY Vault.
RUBY stored in the Vault is resold in the in-game ruby market to maintain circulation.
This ensures a sustainable circulation without exceeding the total supply of 1 billion (RUBY + sRUBY + RUBYx).
2. RUBY Price
On CROSS DEX, RUBYx follows free market pricing based on supply and demand.
In-game ruby market, RUBY is sold at variable prices reflecting RUBYx market rates.
The price will never fall below 0.02 USD, and the total supply will not exceed 1 billion.
3. Premium Subscription
In the in-game exchange, buyers can spend RUBY to purchase items and CRON.
At the same time, sellers can sell items and CRON to receive sRUBY as settlement.
A Premium Subscription is required to sell items in the in-game exchange and receive sRUBY.
4. CROSS RAMP
CROSS RAMP is a tool that converts off-chain assets (in-game) into on-chain assets (outside the game).
Through CROSS RAMP, sRUBY can be converted into RUBYx at a 1:1 ratio.
The converted RUBYx can then be freely traded on CROSS DEX (outside the game).
