For all global users who are about to start playing Rohan 2 on the global server, we have concisely summarized tips for efficient class selection, equipment settings, and leveling!
โค๏ธ Class Recommendations
Explore the main features and pros/cons of each class! We've categorized them by hunting efficiency and PvP specialization.
1st Priority: Dekan Race
- Dragon Knight (PvP, Physical): Primary stat is Stamina (Ancient Skills essential). To increase hunting efficiency, it is recommended to focus on Stamina rather than Strength.
- Dragon Sage (PvE, Magical): Primary stat is Intelligence or Spirit.
- Features: By crafting helmets and weapons specific to each class, and hybrid gloves with both physical/magical accuracy, you can freely switch between PvP and hunting. This versatile race is highly recommended!
2nd Priority: Dhan Race
- Avenger (PvP): Primary stat is Agility (Ancient Skills essential). Thanks to high physical critical damage, it is advantageous for hunting bosses or elite monsters.
- Predator (PvE): Primary stat is Strength. Its hunting efficiency is outstanding.
- Features: With just one additional weapon, you can play both classes, and utilizing stealth skills makes them excel in PvP.
3rd Priority: Half-Elf Race (Ranger)
- Ranger (PvP): Primary stat is Strength (Ancient Skills essential).
- A PvP-specialized class that utilizes long range (attack radius increased by 0.5m) and movement speed passives to deal extreme damage from a distance. Its Drill Shot (defense ignore) boasts immense damage.
4th Priority: Elf Race (Templar)
- Templar (PvP): Primary stat is Intelligence (Ancient Skills essential). This class freezes opponents before delivering extreme damage.
- Features: Potent in 1:1 PvP due to Mare Apos buffs and healing. However, they may struggle against Avengers or Dragon Knights who have freeze resistance. (Detailed explanation limited due to lack of direct play experience.)
5th Priority: Human Race (Guardian/Defender)
- Guardian (PvP/PvE): Primary stats are Strength and Agility (Agility for Ancient Skills).
- Defender (PvP/PvE): Primary stat is Strength.
- Features: Both classes are decent in both PvP and PvE, but their performance can vary significantly depending on the player's control skills. Defenders primarily use 'Shout,' a party buff, to tank and support allies in PvP rather than focusing on damage.
Less Preferred Classes:
- Priest: Essential in PvP, party/guild dungeons, but hunting speed is very slow as most skills are support-oriented.
- Scout: Although intended as a hunting-specialized class, only having two AoE skills makes their hunting efficiency comparable to a Ranger's.
โค๏ธ Equipment Settings
All classes are divided into Physical and Magical categories. The basic equipment options are recommended as follows:
| Equipment Slot | Recommended Options (Physical) | Recommended Options (Magical) |
|---|---|---|
| Weapon | Physical Critical Damage + Physical Critical Chance | Magical Critical Damage + Magical Critical Chance |
| Helmet | Physical Pierce + MP Recovery | Magical Pierce + HP Recovery |
| Upper Armor | General + Boss Damage Reduction (Hunting only) / Boss + PvP Damage Reduction (Hunting/PvP) | |
| Lower Armor | Physical + Magical Pierce Resistance | |
| Gloves | Physical Accuracy + Max HP | Magical Accuracy + Max HP |
| Boots | Max HP + Physical/Magical Evasion OR HP/MP Potion Recovery | |
| Necklace | MP Consumption Reduction + Physical Critical Damage Reduction (Hunting) / PvP Attack + PvP Defense (PvP) | MP Consumption Reduction + Magical Critical Damage Reduction (Hunting) / PvP Attack + PvP Defense (PvP) |
| Earrings | PvP Accuracy + Free Choice | |
| Rings | PvP Accuracy + Free Choice |
Tip: Starting from Level 120 equipment, an additional option becomes available. By then, your understanding of the game should be sufficiently high, so no further explanation will be given.
โค๏ธ Efficient Equipment Crafting & Leveling Tips
- Early Game Equipment: Instead of aiming for top-tier options from the start, it's recommended to compromise on the purple options for the Level 70 Ancient Equipment crafted in the Morrison region. Quickly full-enhance them to advance to the Gaizan region.
- Mid/Late Game Equipment: Starting from the Gaizan region, it's advisable to craft Level 90 equipment with all red-tier options. These pieces will be used until the Eastern Baran Island, so crafting them with optimal stats from the beginning saves you from having to recraft later.
- Dual Account Leveling: Strongly recommended to start with two subscribed accounts from the beginning!
-
- Main Account: Continuously level up this account.
- Sub-Account: Level up this account alongside your main until the Morrison region. Then, gather equipment materials with the sub-account to quickly acquire Level 70 Ancient Equipment for your main account.
- Token Farming: Afterward, use your sub-account to farm monster tokens starting from the lowest level regions, which greatly helps your main account's progression.
- Equipment Swap: Once token farming is complete, your main account will equip Level 90 gear. You can then pass down the used Level 70 Ancient Equipment to your sub-account, allowing it to continue token farming from Morrison onwards, effectively leveling both accounts simultaneously.
I hope this guide helps all users who are about to start playing on the global server!
