Developer Note #3
Hello, Summoners!
This is PD Leo!
The 1.8 update is almost ready and is scheduled to go live next Tuesday!
A lot of the features I've mentioned before will be included, so please look forward to it.
◆ Since the Last Dev Note
Thank you for all the excitement and support around the Minion upgrades and Relics we introduced last week.
If you haven't seen it yet, here's the link:
And thank you again for your continued encouragement on these notes.
I promise to keep communicating with you once or twice a week on a regular basis.
Q&A
Q. Could you display exact values for stats like CRIT Rate or Damage?
A. In battle, stats change constantly due to cards and various effects. To display them meaningfully, we'd have to dedicate space on the battle screen to show those numbers in real time. But given the limited space on mobile screens, it's difficult to fit everything. The pause screen is another option, but it already shows a lot of information. So while it's hard to do right now, we'll keep exploring solutions.
Q. Are there any plans to expand or improve the items available in the Market and Essentials Shops?
A. The Market and Essentials tabs mainly sell materials and currency for leveling up and fusion, along with daily necessities on rotation. If there are specific resources you'd like us to add, please share your feedback—we'll consider including them.
Q. Chain Fusion
A. We did look into it, but the UI became too complicated, so we had to set it aside. That said, we also feel the inconvenience here and will work on a better solution. Thank you for the good suggestion!
Q. Could Legendary Champion effects be shown more clearly?
A. Just writing them out as grade buffs didn't do justice to their impact, so we currently provide videos to showcase them.
Do you still feel that's not enough? If you have ideas on how we can improve, please share them—we'll gladly take them into account.
Please keep sending us your feedback. We'll continue working hard to reflect it in our improvements.
◆ Tower of Infinity Rewards Upgrade
In Developer Note #1, I hinted at an upgrade to Tower of Infinity rewards. And now—it's here!
As the translation is in progress, we kindly ask for your understanding that the image has been temporarily replaced with the Korean version.
I took some screenshots from 240 to 249 stars—you'll notice an extra reward slot has been added on the right.
Here's the breakdown:
Minion Cores
- From 15 stars (5F), every 15 stars (5F): +3 Minion Cores
- From 300 stars (100F), every 15 stars (5F): +5 Minion Cores
- From 450 stars (150F) to 585 stars, every 15 stars (5F): +10 Minion Cores
Epic, Unique, and Legendary Minions
- From 36 stars (12F) to 111 stars (37F), every 15 stars (5F): random Epic Minion
- From 126 stars (42F) to 336 stars (112F), every 15 stars (5F): guaranteed Unique Minion
- At 600 stars (200F): random Legendary Minion
Gold
- From 24 stars (8F) to 114 stars (38F), every 15 stars (5F): 50,000 Gold
- From 129 stars (43F) to 339 stars (113F), every 15 stars (5F): 100,000 Gold
specially the guaranteed Unique Minions from 42F to 112F mean that even if you missed them in draws, you'll still be able to collect at least one of each just by clearing the Tower. Exciting, right?
And that's not all—even if you can't clear higher floors, don't worry. The base rewards, like Training Tokens, will also be significantly increased.
Now, you might be thinking: “But I already cleared those floors and got the rewards... How is that fair?
We've got you covered!
The Tower of Infinity will be reset to 1F for rewards only!
Wait, what? Start all over again?
Haha, no! Don't worry.
Only the rewards reset, not your clear record.
So if you've already cleared up to 300 stars, you'll be able to claim the rewards from 3 stars – 300 stars again, instantly.
Because in Minion Rumble, we always put our players first.
(And a little spoiler only for you... If you've cleared as much as you can before the reset, you'll be able to double-dip those rewards. Shhh!)
◆ Lynbell Summoner for Everyone
We're also improving the early game flow to make Minion Rumble even more welcoming.
The Iris Summoner reward, previously given at Chapter 10 clear, will now be awarded at Chapter 7 clear.
As the translation is in progress, we kindly ask for your understanding that the image has been temporarily replaced with the Korean version.
And on clearing Chapter 13, you'll now get the Lynbell Summoner!
If you've already cleared Chapter 13 and claimed the treasure chest, Lynbell will be sent to your Mailbox.
For those who already own Lynbell, we'll send 80 Lynbell Pieces instead so you can promote her.
(In this case, claiming her from your Mailbox will automatically grant you 80 Pieces in your Inventory.)
◆ PD Leo's Tip!
Today, I'd like to talk about some beloved Champions.
Honestly, every Champion is charming, so it's tough to say who's the strongest.
Axol and Mong are already well-known and loved, so let's set them aside for now.
Personally, my favorites are Legendary Hound and Legendary Eaglie.
As the translation is in progress, we kindly ask for your understanding that the image has been temporarily replaced with the Korean version.
- Hound: At Legendary grade, she gains a terrifying effect—every Critical Hit instantly fires another shot with her musket. It's incredibly powerful.
- Eaglie: Also at Legendary grade, he can knock general monsters (excluding Altar and Boss monsters) high into the sky, killing them in one hit. A very fun ally.
Oops—I was talking too much about my own favorites.
As the translation is in progress, we kindly ask for your understanding that the image has been temporarily replaced with the Korean version.
Today's actual tip is about Meeky and Koal.
- Meeky: Removes incoming projectiles, which is especially useful in Solo Raid or Guild Raid when tornadoes push you back or deal damage.
- Koal: Removes DoT effects within its area, keeping your team safe in tough fights.
As the translation is in progress, we kindly ask for your understanding that the image has been temporarily replaced with the Korean version.
Both are extremely valuable in Solo and Guild Raids.
If you're not sure how they work, check the Skill Preview on the Raid entrance screen for strategy tips.
That's it for today. I'll be back again soon with more good news.
Thanks, everyone—see you next time! Poof!
