Bathed in the soft light of a celestial moon, a magnificent nine-tailed fox curls up in a cloud of wonder, its dreams weaving constellations of light.

Aurielis, 

the Celestial Nine-Tailed Dragon

Aurielis: Echoes of the Shattered Dream

Long ago, before the skies were divided between sun and moon, there existed a legendary dragon known as Aurielis, the Celestial Nine-Tailed Dragon. Unlike other dragons, Aurielis embodied the essence of cosmic balance, with her nine radiant tails glowing in hues of pink and gold, each representing a celestial force: dawn, dusk, starlight, the nebula, the moon, the sun, time, dreams, and eternity.

She was not just a protector of the Dragon Village—she was the bridge between the mortal realm and the Dreamscape, the dimension where dragons' spirits gained wisdom and energy. Her power was sealed within the Celestial Amulet, a magical relic that ensured harmony across all realms.

The Origin of Aurielis

It is said that Aurielis was once a divine fox spirit who roamed the heavens, charming stars and weaving dreams with her celestial magic. But when chaos erupted in the astral planes, she was reborn as a dragon to protect the delicate balance of cosmic forces. Her nine radiant tails retained the hypnotic allure of her fox form, but her new draconic body gave her the strength to battle astral threats.

Each of Aurielis’s tails carries a fragment of her celestial power:

Moon Tail: Represents reflection and serenity.

Starlight Tail: Illuminates the path for lost souls.

Solar Tail: Burns with the fire of creation.

Dream Tail: Weaves the fabric of dreams.

Nebula Tail: Commands the swirling chaos of the cosmos.

Dusk Tail: Brings endings and closure.

Dawn Tail: Heralds new beginnings.

Time Tail: Grants fleeting glimpses into the future.

Ethereal Tail: Binds all tails together, holding Aurielis’s essence.

The Celestial Crisis

Aurielis’s power was tied to the Celestial Amulet, an artifact that maintained the link between the mortal realm and the Dreamscape. When the second loop of the amulet was shattered, Aurielis lost her ability to access the Dream Tail and with it, her control over dreams and emotions. This created chaos in the Dragon Village, as dragons fell into restless slumbers and their powers began to wane.

Restoring Aurielis’s Power

The Dragon Masters, aware of the legend of Aurielis. They needed to:

Reclaim the Dream Tail by venturing into the Dreamscape and confronting the fragmented memories of Aurielis’s fox spirit past.

Restore the Second Loop by finding the fragments of the Celestial Amulet, hidden across astral planes filled with enemies and challenges.

Awaken Aurielis by channeling the emotional energy of dragons and mortals alike, reigniting her connection to the Dreamscape.

This dragon is inspired from a combination of myths of kitsune and kumiho, 

The kitsune is a Japanese fox spirit often associated with wisdom, magical powers, and a deep connection to the divine. Aurielis incorporates these traits as well:

Wisdom and Protection: As a reincarnation of the Divine Fox, Aurielis embodies the kitsune’s role as a protector and guide, ensuring the balance between realms.

Celestial Powers: The kitsune’s ability to manipulate elements and weave illusions.

Nine Tails as a Mark of Power: In kitsune lore, each tail signifies greater power and wisdom, which aligns with Aurielis’s nine radiant tails, each representing a cosmic force.

And, The kumiho is a Korean nine-tailed fox spirit often portrayed as a shape-shifter and a sometimes dangerous entity, associated with seduction and deception.

Aurielis reflects these characteristics through:

Mystical Allure: Aurielis has a captivating and enchanting presence, much like the kumiho, which uses charm to manipulate others.

Dreamweaving Abilities: The kumiho’s tendency to influence or prey upon human emotions is mirrored in Aurielis’s ability to guide or disrupt dreams.

Dual Nature: Like the kumiho, who may oscillate between good and malevolent intentions, Aurielis’s role as a guardian of cosmic balance shows a balance between harmony and destruction, depending on how her power is wielded.

I created and think about it for awhile before drawing it. I drawn it for about 3 day ,not so sure cause I stop a lot while working on it. I used reference from pictures from Pinterest for the base of the fox's bodies. I used ai for completing the story I've come up. I then relate it to Dragon Village Collection's narratives that already existed in the game. I added description about from what things I was inspired about it on the top. It has been awhile since I last drawn digitally and send some of things I've drawn. I'm quite impressed of what the results have become.

I hope this dragon of mine be part of the game that I loved to play.

I'm still working on another dragon that I will submit. It is still in drawing stage.
