This is my entry for the contest to add a dragon to the game.

Im not a good artist, so bear with me.

I used pixel art because my linework is so bad that itd be even worse than it is if i didnt use pixel art

Egg:

This egg can sense the emotions of its holder.

Hatch:

At night, it shakes from overstimulation, hearing everyones dreams as a cacophonous roar.

Hatchling:

It likes to spy on slumbering people, curiously analyzing the contents of their sleeping heads.

Adult:

It uses the fire on its tail to burn dreams it does not like, burning away the latent negative emotions before replacing them in the head of who it was taken from.

Story/Lore:

Starlight Dragon bounded jubilantly through the streets in the dead of night, no goal in mind, no thoughts to speak of.

Her large ears suddenly perked up. She started towards the sound they had detected, and before long, she had reached the cracked open window of a lower bedroom.

Inside the bed, a child slept fitfully, not relenting in his unrestful slumber.

Starlight Dragon could hear the bad dreams clearly as they crawled around maliciously in the restless head of the child.

Starlight Dragon willed all the bad energy from the room, taking all of it into her body. It travelled down her fur in a wave-like motion before reaching her iridescent, fiery tail.

The bad energy was burned in the effervescent flame-like form of her tail, burning off all the latent negativity from the energy as she summoned happy thoughts to replace it.

Starlight Dragon's positive energy replaced the negative energy of the bad dream in the vessel of energy, and thus it became a good dream. She sent it back into the room, where it found a home in the head of the child.

The child relaxed in his sleep, a smile replacing the fearful grimace that once adorned his slumbering face. 

Having accomplished her mission, Starlight Dragon continued bounding effortlessly down the streets, listening carefully for more bad dreams to dispel.
