Time of discovery: All year round.

Height: 35ft. (1066.8 cm) (Measured by length)
Weight: 45 pounds (99.kg)
Egg:
Seven orbs illuminate this egg
These eggs are quite colorful and easy to see, but because they're so easy to spot from a distance, The eggs are often hidden away in tree holes occupied by other animals, such as squirrels or birds, by the parents. The eggs give off a gentle vibration that feels comfortable to any neighboring baby animals, so the animal parents typically don't mind the inclusion of the dragon egg in their nest.
Hatch:
It tries to meditate in peace
These dragons look like a mix of many different animal species. Each chakra on the hatch has its own element and animal spirit attuned to them. Since it is new at meditation, it sometimes opens its eyes accidentally or even fall sideways. If it doesn't keep its chakras in balance via meditation, it will let loose energy from its chakras without meaning to.
Hatchling:
It is becoming more used to its chakras
More colors start to fade in when it gets a hang of its abilities. It is also around this time that the hatchling can control when its powers comes out, so curiosity will make this dragon discover all it is capable of. The chakras can tell tamers how healthy the dragon. If the chakras glow brightly, it is healthy, if the chakras glow dimly, it is ill.
Adult:
It protects its forest vigorously
Its vibrancy is in full bloom, and it uses each power from its chakras to defend against any who would dare bring harm to its home or the animals that live there. It frequently checks land, sea and sky for both potential attackers and for food. Should anyone get on the bad side of this dragon, it is a difficult opponent to beat because of its newly-honed skills, such as seeing through walls or reading the minds of others, it also doesn't sleep, but instead meditates at night, still being fully aware of its surroundings.
Dragon story:
“The freak of nature”
Chimera chakras, while often praised for its large amount of magical prowess and protective behaviors, it is just as often criticized for its appearance being all over the place and overall strange, being called a: “Freak of nature” as a result.
One little hatch had just awoken from its slumber, and upon looking out the tree hole, it sees two birds looking in while searching for a place to make a nest, and without knowing it, it reads the minds of the two birds.
“What is this THING!?” “Is this supposed to be a dragon?”
The birds stared confused and disgusted
“I'm…a dragon”
The dragon weakly responded while confused itself as to how it could hear their inner thoughts.
The two birds then worked together to toss the dragon out of the tree hole to make room for their nest.
“Let the REAL animals take this spot.” “I'm sure there's a nice, ugly cave for an ugly dragon like you to live.”
The dragon waddled away, dejected, trying to find a new home.
It then crawls into another tree hole, unaware it was already taken up by a family of squirrels. The baby squirrels hid behind their parents, and the parents shooed off the dragon.
“Get away from our home, you freak of nature!" “And don't come back!”
The squirrels yelled. The dragon as it waddled away again could hear the baby squirrels talking behind its back. Hearing words such as:
“An elephant's tail, a fish's scales, a sheep's wool!? Why does it look like that!?” And “I think whoever made that dragon made a mistake in the process...perhaps multiple.”
The dragon waddled away once more, this time in tears and its chakras growing more dim by the minute. It retreated to a secluded cave to get away from all the animals that rejected it solely because of its appearance and tried to calm itself by meditating. However, it could not focus over the sound of whimpering from some wolf puppies who were lost just outside the cave.
The dragon opened its eyes and looked around and saw a much larger wolf walking around and sniffing the ground, as if searching for something, or perhaps those wolf puppies. The dragon tried to tell the puppies but couldn't get a sound in until it eventually let out a louder roar like a lion's. The puppies quickly turned to the dragon and the larger wolf appeared in front of the cave upon hearing the sound. The wolf initially snarled at the dragon, but the puppies told their mother that the dragon had “saved” them somehow.
“Saved? This dragon?”
“Yeah! The dragon noticed we were lost, so it let out that big roar to lead you to where we were!”
The puppies tried to convince their mother that's what happened, not knowing any better. The wolf slowly walked up to the dragon with a stern look and sniffed it, then lifted her head.
“I find it hard to believe that this young dragon made that sound…but I also sense no malice from it, strange as it might be.”
The mother wolf and her puppies then quietly left the dragon be.
“Thanks dragon!”
The puppies gleefully exclaimed as they went back to their mother. The dragon then had a thought; the pink chakra lighting up on its head
“I wasn't trying to do what they said I did...but what if that is what I need to do?”
The next morning, the dragon gathered acorns, twigs, berries, and anything it can find to give to the animals of the forest, while it gathered, the red chakra lit up. It then gave the foraged goods to any animals in need, causing the green chakra to glow. Orange would shine after having to be creative in helping a trapped deer escape some vines. Days later, the animals of the forest quickly learned of this dragon's exploits and would soon gather around to give their gratitude…and apologies for how they treated the poor dragon. After hearing the praise it yearned for, the yellow chakra brightly lit up.
“Hey! Dragon!” “You're getting a lot of attention, aren't you?”
The dragon could not remember where it heard those voices before, but had feeling it was the wolf puppies, a correct feeling at that. The indigo chakra glowed as the puppies playfully tackled the dragon. The dragon, still pinned to the ground saw the wolf mother walking by, who gently smiled at the sight of her puppies having fun with the dragon.
“Um...I-...I wasn't trying to roar…or save these puppies that night…”
The dragon expected the wolf the be upset, but was surprised by her response, blue chakra glowing all the while.
“Oh...you weren't? Well, I suppose it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. Your roar helped me find my puppies, that's what counts. For that me and these rascals of mine thank you.”
The dragon had a big smile coupled with tears of joy rolling down its face. All seven chakras glowed beautifully all around its body. The wolf puppies stepped back and all the animals gazed as the dragon then took on a transformation into a hatchling after balancing those chakras. With now evolving, both physically and mentally, it was filled with the strong determination to not only keep doing good for every animal in the forest, but to also try to unlock and master every capability of its chakras.
Concept art:
Here's how each chakra looks in each evolutionary stage.
Here is the gender difference.
And here are some things about its design and different textures.
(For those who want to know)
The Chimera chakra is obviously inspired by the seven chakras (Root, Sacral, Solar plexus, Heart, Throat, Third eye and Crown) and a chimera of sorts due to the seven chakras having a specific animal and element connected to it. Red is associated with Earth and the Elephant, Orange is Water and Fish,
Yellow is Ram and Fire, Green is Bird and Air, Blue is Lion and Sound, Indigo is Owl and The Ether (space) and Pink is Butterfly and Thought…but for the sake of not having seven elements at once, I made it only Dream element.
