蛋/Egg/알

“這顆蛋不停的發出著蒸氣”

這顆蛋看起來就像是一件金屬藝術品，但卻是活生生的。
蛋的中心像是火爐一樣不停的燃燒著並傳來有節奏的齒輪轉動聲，散發出蒸氣隱藏自己。

"This egg continuously emits steam."

The egg looks like a piece of metal artwork, but it is very much alive. The center of the egg burns like a furnace, producing a rhythmic sound of gears turning, releasing steam to conceal itself.

"이 알은 끊임없이 증기를 내뿜고 있다."

이 알은 금속 예술품처럼 보이지만, 실제로는 살아있다. 알의 중심은 화로처럼 계속 타오르며, 리드미컬한 기어 회전 소리를 내고 증기를 발산하여 자신을 숨긴다.

幼體/Hatch/해치

不知是否是一開始就是有瑕疵的，蒸氣之翼的幼體一出生就缺少了一邊的胳膊也不擁有翅膀。
但牠並沒有過多的在意這些，哪怕只有一隻手也能靈巧的把玩著各種金屬零件，你可以在任何時候看見幼體身邊散落著它收集來的金屬零件。

It’s unclear if it was flawed from the beginning, but the juvenile Wings of Steam was born missing one arm and lacking wings. However, it didn't seem to mind much; even with just one hand, it skillfully played with various metal parts. You can often see scattered metal pieces around the juvenile, collected from its explorations.

처음부터 결함이 있었는지는 불확실하지만, 증기 날개의 유아는 한 쪽 팔이 없고 날개도 없는 채로 태어났다. 그러나 그들은 이 사실에 크게 신경 쓰지 않는 듯하다. 한 손만으로도 다양한 금속 부품을 능숙하게 가지고 놀 수 있다. 유아 주위에는 자주 탐험하면서 수집한 금속 조각들이 흩어져 있는 모습을 볼 수 있다.

亞成體/Hatchling/해틸링

隨著成長，蒸氣之翼的身上金屬花紋越來越豐富，產生的動力與蒸氣量也逐漸變大。

看著其他龍開始長出翅膀，蒸氣之翼也期待自己擁有一對，但可惜牠似乎天生並不擁有翅膀。
但是牠並不灰心，開始使用金屬設計一對屬於自己的翅膀。
有時候牠會在空著的手臂上安裝不同的工具幫助自己製造物品，不過當不這麼做的時候牠會卸下來幫助身體排出多餘的氣體。

As it grows, the metallic patterns on the Wings of Steam become increasingly intricate, and the power and steam output gradually increase.

Watching other dragons develop wings, the Wings of Steam also hopes to have a pair, but unfortunately, it seems to be naturally wingless. However, it doesn’t lose heart and begins to design a pair of wings from metal. Sometimes, it installs different tools on its empty arm to assist in creating items, but when it doesn’t need them, it removes them to help release excess gas from its body.

성장함에 따라 증기 날개의 금속 무늬는 점점 더 풍부해지고, 발생하는 힘과 증기량도 점차 증가한다.

다른 용들이 날개를 키우는 모습을 보며, 증기 날개도 자신에게 날개가 생기기를 바라지만 안타깝게도 태생적으로 날개가 없는 것 같다. 그러나 그는 낙담하지 않고 금속으로 자신만의 날개를 설계하기 시작한다. 때때로 그는 빈 팔에 다양한 도구를 설치하여 물건을 만드는 데 도움을 주지만, 필요하지 않을 때는 그것을 제거하여 몸에서 과도한 가스를 배출하도록 돕는다.

在蒸氣之翼長久歲月中對於金屬工藝的研究與成年身軀能產生的巨大能量下，終於在成年時打造出可以讓自己升空的翅膀。
儘管因為笨重的金屬身軀，蒸氣之翼無法進行太快與太高的飛行，但牠仍然很滿意自己最終的技術能力。
直到成年蒸氣之翼仍會在世界漫遊，來到工業化正在進步的城市觀察與指導。

After years of studying metal craftsmanship and harnessing the immense energy of its adult body, the Wings of Steam finally crafted wings that could lift it into the air. Although its heavy metal frame prevents it from flying too fast or too high, it remains satisfied with its ultimate technical ability. Even as an adult, the Wings of Steam continues to roam the world, visiting cities undergoing industrial progress to observe and guide.

오랜 세월 동안 금속 공예를 연구하고 성체의 거대한 에너지를 활용한 끝에, 증기 날개는 마침내 공중으로 떠오를 수 있는 날개를 만들었다. 비록 무거운 금속 몸체 때문에 너무 빠르거나 높이 날 수는 없지만, 그는 자신의 궁극적인 기술력에 만족한다. 성인이 된 후에도 증기 날개는 세상을 떠돌며 산업 발전 중인 도시를 방문하여 관찰하고 지도한다.

故事/Story/스토리

【來自空中的齒輪】

一個孤獨的少年在漆黑的夜晚下獨自徘徊在森林之中，他拄著拐杖，為自己遭遇的不幸意外而失去的腳而哀傷。
這時天空傳來巨大的聲響，像是金屬齒輪在旋轉的聲音，伴隨著強大的風吹著森林的樹木一陣陣搖晃著，然後"轟隆"的一聲，一條巨大的龍降落的地面，少年第一次見到如此巨大的龍，感到很害怕驚慌開始嘗試逃跑。
但是少年目前的身體狀況根本無法奔馳，很快就摔倒在地上，蒸氣之翼注意到了這名人類，牠降低自身的運轉功率防止高溫跟蒸氣傷害到這名少年，並慢慢地靠近他蹲下。

少年發現這頭巨龍似乎並無惡意，轉而好奇地靠近蒸氣之翼，對著這頭巨龍身上複雜且精美的外殼感到驚嘆，不知道這是天然誕生的產物還是人為製造出來的。
在少年靠近後，蒸氣之翼注意到了眼前人類行動不便的原因，牠開始用爪子在地面上畫畫。
少年:你在畫什麼呢?...喔這看起來像是一條人類的腿，但是是機械做的，可是我不懂機械。
蒸氣之翼抖動了一下身子，一些零件跟工具從牠身上的縫隙中甩出，牠很快就拼湊出一個簡易的金屬機關，似乎想教導少年該如何製作。

少年:喔!沒想到你這麼厲害，既然你都這麼努力那我也不應該放棄才對!，在這之後一段時間，夜裡少年都會悄悄來到森林跟巨龍會面，學習金屬工藝，最後少年製造出了一條金屬腿，儘管不如真正的腿，但已經能讓行動方便很多。

蒸氣之翼也對少年的努力感到開心，用爪子擺出手勢鼓舞著。

在黎明到來時，蒸氣之翼展開巨大的翅膀飛上天空，似乎再用爪子揮舞告別，少年知道這條巨龍似乎要繼續屬於牠自己的旅行，也一起揮手告別，直到空中的的齒輪聲再次安靜下來。

"Gears from the Sky"

A lonely boy wandered through the dark forest at night, leaning on a cane, mourning the loss of his leg due to an unfortunate accident. Suddenly, a huge sound came from the sky, like metal gears rotating, accompanied by a strong wind that shook the trees. Then, with a thunderous crash, a massive dragon landed on the ground. The boy was terrified at the sight of such a gigantic creature and began to try to escape. However, in his current condition, he couldn't run and quickly fell to the ground.

 The Wings of Steam noticed the human and lowered its operating power to prevent the heat and steam from harming the boy, slowly approaching and crouching down. The boy realized that this dragon didn't seem to have any ill intentions and curiously approached it, marveling at the intricate and beautiful exterior, wondering if it was a natural creation or man-made.

As the boy got closer, the Wings of Steam noticed the boy's mobility issues and began to draw on the ground with its claws.

Boy: "What are you drawing?... Oh, this looks like a human leg, but made of metal. I don’t understand mechanics."
 

The Wings of Steam shook its body, and some parts and tools flew out from its seams. It quickly assembled a simple metal mechanism, seemingly wanting to teach the boy how to make it.
Boy: "Wow! I didn’t know you were so skilled. Since you’re trying so hard, I shouldn’t give up either!" For a while after that, the boy secretly visited the forest at night to meet the dragon and learn metalworking. Eventually, he created a metal leg. Although it wasn't as good as a real leg, it made movement much easier. The Wings of Steam was pleased with the boy’s efforts, gesturing encouragingly with its claws.

As dawn approached, the Wings of Steam spread its massive wings and flew into the sky, seemingly waving goodbye with its claws. The boy knew that the dragon was set to continue its own journey and waved back until the sound of gears in the sky quieted once more.

"하늘의 기어"

한 외로운 소년이 어두운 밤에 혼자 숲속을 헤매고 있었다. 그는 지팡이에 기대어 불행한 사고로 잃은 다리를 애도하고 있었다. 그때 하늘에서 거대한 소리가 들려왔다. 마치 금속 기어가 돌아가는 소리 같았고, 강한 바람이 나무를 흔들었다. 그리고 "우르릉" 하는 소리와 함께 거대한 드래곤이 땅에 착륙했다. 

소년은 이렇게 거대한 생물을 처음 보았기에 두려움을 느끼며 도망치려 했다. 그러나 현재 그의 몸 상태로는 도망칠 수 없었고, 곧 땅에 넘어졌다. 증기 날개는 이 인간을 주목하고, 열기와 증기가 소년을 해치지 않도록 작동 출력을 낮추며 천천히 다가가서 쪼그리고 앉았다. 소년은 이 드래곤이 악의가 없는 것 같다는 것을 깨닫고 호기심을 가지고 다가가, 복잡하고 정교한 외관에 감탄하며 이것이 자연적으로 태어난 것인지 인위적으로 만들어진 것인지 궁금해했다.

소년이 가까이 다가가자, 증기 날개는 소년의 행동 불편함을 알아차리고 발톱으로 땅에 그림을 그리기 시작했다.

소년: "너 뭐 그리는 거야?... 오, 이건 사람의 다리 같아, 하지만 기계로 만들어졌네. 나는 기계를 잘 몰라."
증기 날개는 몸을 흔들어 일부 부품과 도구를 몸에서 튕겨냈다. 그리고 빠르게 간단한 금속 장치를 조립하며 소년에게 만드는 방법을 가르치고 싶어 하는 것 같았다.
소년: "와! 너 이렇게 능력 있는 줄 몰랐어. 너가 이렇게 열심히 하는데 나도 포기하면 안 되지!" 그 후 한동안 소년은 밤마다 숲에 몰래 가서 드래곤과 만나 금속 공예를 배웠다. 결국 그는 금속 다리를 만들었다. 비록 진짜 다리만큼 좋지는 않았지만, 움직임이 훨씬 더 수월해졌다. 증기 날개는 소년의 노력에 기뻐하며 발톱으로 격려의 제스처를 취했다.

새벽이 오자, 증기 날개는 거대한 날개를 펼치고 하늘로 날아올랐다. 발톱으로 작별 인사를 하는 듯했다. 소년은 이 드래곤이 자신의 여정을 계속할 것 같다는 것을 알고 함께 손을 흔들며 작별을 고했다. 하늘의 기어 소리가 다시 조용해질 때까지.
