story:
as plants were forming, some life was created, the first interstellar dragons born from stardust and asteroid debris. as they grew older they collected more star dust that clung to their soft pelts that kept them warm in the vacuum of space, their fur started to sparkle and glow. as the younger generations carried on they collected more and more star dust in their fur, it even getting into wounds and into their blood leading to more of it being passed down to eggs. interstellar dragons landed on earth long after humans leading them to be more shy, keeping their eggs safe in cool dark places like caves and underground burrows. as they started to dig burrows they developed claws that were longer and sharper to dig in the dirt effectively, leading to them being horrible swimmers.
