This egg swirls with color

TyeDiles eggs can be found at the bottom of swamps and warm bodies of water in the warmer seasons of Summer and Spring. They are born independent without the need of a mother for care. When they are born, both the males and females have dull green and brown scales to help them blend into their surroundings. 

Rarely- when breeding TyeDiles, a special form can be achieved :)

To achieve the special form of TyeDile: Breed TyeDile  + cheerful personality TyeDile.

TyeDiles are born with a natural instinct to hoard and collect items they take a liking to. If a TyeDile doesn't collect and hoard, they become grumpy, and their scales begin to darken in color. 

If a TyeDile is lucky enough to find enough items to collect, they become happier. And their scales reflect this by becoming brighter and more colorful. 

**Males will grow more sets of horns than the females.**

Collector form hatchlings are lighter in color than the default form. 

Tie-dye style can be seen forming in the wings of the hatchling collector form.

Differences in appearance according to gender:

Male: Three sets of large horns with spines going from the head down both sides of the body- darker colors in tie-dye effect on wings- more vibrant speckles in scales - green spines on top of tail. 

Female: Two slightly smaller sets of horns with spines running down the sides of the body - less vibrant speckles in scales - lighter colors in tie-dye effect on wings - black spines on top of tail.

TyeDiles, when dead, take the form of the item they wanted to collect in life. 

The Happy Little Collector

Deep within the Forest of Hope, at the bottom of a swamp, a little green egg can be found with the nose of a young TyeDile poking just outside the shell. This TyeDile was a happy little dragon by nature, unlike the other TyeDile dragons in the swamp he lived in, most of them were big, scary, and grumpy.

TyeDiles first day swimming in the swamp…

He came across a big grumpy TyeDile dragon and asked him:

“what are we supposed to do around here?”

“swim, eat, and collect rocks” the grumpy dragon replied, and swam away.

“Only swim and eat?” TyeDile asked himself surprised,

“That sounds so boring, and rocks are everywhere, why do we want them? Does no one here know how to have any fun?"

Then, TyeDile decided to leave the swamp, he was not going to accept this bland way of life and become grumpy like the other TyeDiles in the swamp. Even though he was cautioned by the others of the dangers outside the swamp.

The rivers outside of the swamp were cold and rough, and the fish were much bigger than TyeDile could eat, but he pushed on, hoping to find more meaning to life than just water, and fish.

One day, TyeDile came to a small pond, with warm water and small fish. He had been swimming in cold water for so long, with no fish small enough to eat for days, he started to fish and relax right away. 

As TyeDile was fishing, he saw something at the edge of the pond out of the corner of his eye, this item was small, and closely resembled a duckling, but was bright in color, and it made TyeDile very happy. 

“This is so cute!” He exclaimed

“I wonder if there are more of these around here”

After eating and regaining his stregnth, TyeDile continued up stream in search of more little bright colored ducks.

Months passed, and TyeDile had grown considerably in size. he had successfully found more little ducks and had mountain of them to keep him happy. 

But unlike the other TyeDiles back at the swamp, whos scales stayed dark and muddy in color, TyeDile's scales had bright beautiful colors in them with briliant swirls of color all throughout his wings. 

TyeDile smiled as he rest on top of his mountain of little ducks, he had found what he was looking for. :)
