Story: A Wilted Flower

A little girl went outside to tend to the beautiful flower garden she had been growing all by herself. Her parents were very proud of her as she had been doing it all on her own with no help.

As the girl went out back to water her beloved plants, she fell to the floor and began to sob.

“My garden! The flowers are…. wilted…” the girl cried. “They must have gotten destroyed from the storm…”

She tried to water them anyway, wiping her tears as she tried to tend for the poor flowers. As the girl kept wiping her tears away she felt a mysterious yet strong wind almost blow her away! She gathered herself and looked up, for it was none other than a dragon!

“I’ve seen how nicely you’ve cared for these plants. I see the good in your heart and your dedication” said Fayren, dipping its head towards the wilted flowers.

Just then, the girl felt another strong gust of wind and closed her eyes. When she opened them again, all of her flowers were alive once more!

“Thank you so much!” cried the girl, now with tears of happiness filling her eyes. Fayren smiled, “it is my duty to revive what was once alive and blossoming.” It disappeared within the wind, and the girl continued to smile in hopes that she would see that dragon once more.
