Braided with silk ribbons, this egg emits cold moonlight. Emanating from a transparent shell covered with fanciful cracks, the mists are pleasant and cool, flowing through the fingers as if liquid. One legend says that one night the Moon fell in love with a passing Comet, but it burned in the atmosphere of the planet. The sad Moon sprinkled the earth with cold winds and rain, and on the next night a faint glistening dragon eggs were found among the tea bushes, exuding a milky aroma.

Once hatched, the dragon prefers to sleep during the day or to be in a shade, often playing in growing tea bushes, while avoiding sunlight. 

Meanwhile, Hatch's large and light-sensitive eyes watch the environment with curiosity, and the touch of it's paws leave a pleasant coolness on the skin. 

It is said that the pearl beads and pearls floating around remind the dragons of the Moon’s sadness, and in each reflection of the surface comets falling from sky are visible. 

The beads that the dragons collect have a strange chill and roll in palms like a drop of tears. Some say it’s the Moon’s own tears that mourned the loss.

The white silk ribbon, on which the beads are strung, streams across the dragon’s cold, almost weightless fur. 

Long ago, the very first Oolongs were gifted these ribbons by the Moon herself, swiping away with her invisible hand a shimmering light path from the surface of lake waters, and to this day all Oolongs carry this gift with them. 

There is a belief that if you steal or take the ribbon from the Oolong, all of the tea from plantation, on which this dragon lives, will get a sad and bitter note.

Growing up, large Oolongs walk in pairs between rows of tea on the cool nights, inhaling the aroma of leaves and covering the emerald terraces with a damp haze. 

Even one dragon on a plantation is a small blessing and a sign of good luck. Crops under the supervision of this creature become fragrant and specifically refreshing. 

Some plantation owners, who are dealing with Oolongs, have said that the unusual tastes and shades of the tea varieties are explained by the different moods of dragons. 

On a full moon, the Oolong fur aquires a milky glow, as if it were ghostly, nourished by cosmic streams, and the tea after such a night gives an indescribable deep taste of a misty mountains, covered with morning frost.

Cool of the Comet’s tail

Smooth claws gently tapping on a flat stones on shore, and the light from them reflects on the wet black surface. Large Oolong pauses for a moment to behold on the smooth surface of the lake. A silk ribbon of beads swayed in a light refreshing wind, dangling from the dark horn, the dragon rolled it's head. 

His gaze drew a ribbed path of light from the night shine. He took a cautious step towards the water’s edge, but then froze in place, catching a thin tea smell from a hut on the slope. 

Figure of a man appeared in the doorway, staring straight at Oolong, and then put a bowl of hot tea with milk onto a low table - a treat for a dragon. 

"Comet’s tail tip cool" - man’s voice sounded quietly. He then sat down on a creaky bamboo chair that was beside him. "That’s what I’ll call this variety of tea" 

The frosty breath that came out of Oolong’s mouth immediately cooled the tea in the saucer. The dragon bowed it's head, which appeared massive because of the mane, and touched the surface of the drink with its lip-less mouth. Just one sip and the saucer was empty. 

An hour later, two of them were sitting on the beach, emptying cup by cup. Man shared stories like fairy tales, and Oolong listened silently, staring at the Moon and waving his tail, while a pleasant coolness came out of the long fur, wrapping the man's hands covered with veins and calluses. 

He stretched out for a multi-barreled flute, and a quiet and melancholic melody spread over the terraces. And the farther it spread, the deeper thoughts sank into the dark water of the lake beneath their silhouettes. 

Barely noticing a spark from a fallen star, Oolong leaned his head gently towards the water, covering his large eyes. The smooth mirrored surface of the water flickered from the falling tears, covering in ripple circles. 

The man beside Oolong only lowered his hand, plunging it under the water and pulled out a round bead from the deep, and with his second hand he ran between the dragon’s horns, calming him down. 

"Have some more tea, my friend."

그의 시선은 밤빛에 비친 늑골이 있는 빛의 길을 따라 움직였습니다. 그는 조심스럽게 물가를 향해 한 발짝 내디뎠다가 언덕 위의 오두막에서 나는 옅은 차 냄새를 맡고는 그 자리에서 얼어붙었습니다.
