This egg should be handled with special handling. Otherwise, the egg may cause mutations in body parts. An irresponsible tamer inadvertently tried to steal Mendel's eggs. As a result, fluid began to burst from the cells of Tamer's hands, causing his hands to become extremely wrinkled and unable to move.

When Mendel hatches, it comes with a single-stranded item that resembles a very small component of the body called the ribonucleic acid. The item should be touched by none other than Mendel, because it is highly dangerous as it may cause irreversible damage to one's genes. Mendel is still studying genetics to control the power of its magic item. It starts conducting experiments on defective plants by editing its genes. After several trials, Mendel finally found out how to fix the defective plants.

Mendel's magic item, which used to look like a single strand, now evolves into a double helix structure. The strand of Mendel's tail doubled, its wings grew with colorful feathers, and its horns grew with colorful branches on it. Mendel is now very skilled at the subject it's passionate about. It starts to try using its magic to protect lethal eggs from death. Unfortunately, it didn't work at first, and it made Mendel very sad. However, it didn't stop Mendel from trying. 

단일 가닥처럼 보였던 멘델의 마법 아이템은 이제 이중 나선 구조로 진화합니다. 멘델의 꼬리 가닥은 두 배로 늘어났고, 날개에는 화려한 깃털이 자랐으며, 뿔에는 화려한 가지가 달려 있었습니다. 멘델은 이제 자신이 열정을 갖고 있는 주제에 매우 능숙해졌습니다. 치명적인 알을 죽음으로부터 보호하기 위해 마법을 사용하기 시작합니다. 불행히도 처음에는 효과가 없었고  멘델을 매우 슬프게 만들었습니다. 그러나 이것이 멘델의 시도를 막지는 못했습니다.

It is a mutation dragon, capable of mutating genes of lifeforms for its better fate.

Some newborns were destined to be lethal, making it die before it gets to see the world. Seeing this fact, Mendel feels sad and wishes that it can change their fate. Its double helix-shaped possession is its magic wand. The magic that comes from it causes changes in the nucleobases of eggs, fixing defects in the eggs' chromosomes.

Often, Mendel finds abandoned eggs because they are visibly defected on its shell, signing that the embryo inside is lethal. Not being able to track its parents, Mendel takes the egg to its home and incubate it. Mendel then performs a magical spell on the egg. Several days pass by, and the egg hatches perfectly fine. Mendel treats the hatches it adopted as if they're Mendel's children.

일부 신생아는 치명적이어서 세상을 보기도 전에 죽게 될 운명이었습니다. 이 사실을 본 멘델은 안타까움을 느끼며 자신의 운명이 바뀌기를 바랐다. 이중 나선 모양의 소유물은 마술 지팡이입니다. 그것에서 나오는 마법은 난자의 핵염기에 변화를 일으키고 난자의 염색체 결함을 고친다.

종종 멘델은 껍질에 눈에 띄게 결함이 있는 버려진 알을 발견하여 내부의 배아가 치명적이라는 신호를 보냅니다. 부모를 추적할 수 없는 멘델은 알을 집으로 가져가 부화시킵니다. 멘델은 달걀에 마법 주문을 겁니다. 며칠이 지나고 알은 완벽하게 부화합니다. 멘델은 자신이 채택한 해치를 마치 멘델의 자녀인 것처럼 취급합니다.

STORY

“Changing the fate of the unlucky one”

When the young Mendel was strolling the forest alone, It stumbled upon a strange noise behind the bushes. The noise was pretty disturbing, it sounds like intense cracking. Mendel immediately checked the bushes, and found an egg with a very delicate shell. Mendel tried to touch the egg, but a single touch already made a crack.

Mendel stopped trying to touch the egg, so it pulled out its magic item. The double strands of the wand start to crack open, then wrap around the egg. The magic caused the egg to mutate, so its shell became thicker. Mendel quickly put the egg in its bag to bring home. However, Mendel didn't realize that the magic wasn't controlled properly. Due to the wrong step, the egg exploded like a bomb and the liquid inside the egg were scattered all over the place.

The young Mendel starts crying while it saw the little dragon breathless on the ground. Mendel felt really helpless, it felt like a murder, and the fact that it's just a newborn made it worse.

The skin of the hatch is incredibly thin, and it is lacking of fur, making its insides somewhat visible. Mendel can see its heart not beating at all. During the sorrowful moment, Mendel hugged the little newborn tightly while tears dropped to its fragile body.

"Do not worry, o scientist- that is not your fault."

"Who was that? I failed! I am no scientist! I'm a killer!" Mendel replied to the mysterious voice while trembling in fear and sadness.

Mendel opened its eyes, the newborn's heart started beating. Its breath can be felt, waking up Mendel from the feeling of loss. The little dragon snuggled Mendel's snout, thinking of it as its own parent. Mendel felt really happy, and decided to raise the little dragon until it grows up into a healthy adult.

Throughout Mendel's life, it often finds eggs abandoned in the wild, unsheltered and fragile. Mendel takes the eggs home safely and protect them from death with its mutating magic.

“불행한 사람의 운명을 바꾸는”

어린 멘델이 혼자 숲을 산책하고 있을 때, 덤불 뒤에서 이상한 소리가 나는 것을 우연히 발견했습니다. 소음은 꽤 불안했습니다. 강렬한 균열처럼 들렸습니다. 멘델은 즉시 덤불을 조사한 결과 껍질이 매우 연약한 알을 발견했습니다. 멘델은 계란에 손을 대려고 했지만 단 한 번의 접촉에도 이미 금이 갔습니다.

멘델은 달걀에 손을 대려는 시도를 멈추고 마법 아이템을 꺼냈습니다. 지팡이의 이중 가닥이 갈라지기 시작하고 계란을 감싸게 됩니다. 마법으로 인해 알에 돌연변이가 생겨 껍질이 두꺼워졌습니다. 멘델은 재빨리 달걀을 가방에 담아 집으로 가져왔습니다. 하지만 멘델은 마법이 제대로 제어되지 않는다는 사실을 깨닫지 못했습니다. 잘못된 발걸음으로 인해 계란이 폭탄처럼 터지고 계란 안의 액체가 여기저기로 흩어졌습니다.

어린 멘델은 땅바닥에 숨이 막히는 작은 용을 보고 울기 시작합니다. 멘델은 정말 무력감을 느꼈고 마치 살인처럼 느껴졌습니다. 갓 태어난 아기라는 사실이 상황을 더욱 악화시켰습니다.

해치의 피부는 믿을 수 없을 정도로 얇고, 털이 없어 내부가 다소 눈에 띕니다. 멘델은 심장이 전혀 뛰지 않는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 슬픔에 잠긴 순간, 멘델은 갓 태어난 아기를 꼭 껴안고 연약한 아기 몸에 눈물을 흘렸습니다.

"걱정하지 마세요, 오 과학자여. 그건 당신 잘못이 아닙니다."

"저 사람은 누구였나요? 나는 실패했습니다! 나는 과학자가 아닙니다! 나는 살인자입니다!" 멘델은 두려움과 슬픔에 떨면서 신비한 목소리에 대답했다.

멘델이 눈을 떴고, 신생아의 심장이 뛰기 시작했습니다. 그 숨결이 느껴지며 상실감에서 멘델을 깨운다. 작은 용은 멘델의 주둥이를 자신의 부모로 생각하며 끌어안았습니다. 멘델은 정말 행복했고, 작은 용이 건강한 성체로 자랄 때까지 키우기로 결심했습니다.

멘델은 일생 동안 보호받지 못하고 부서지기 쉬운 야생에 버려진 알을 자주 발견했습니다. 멘델은 알을 안전하게 집으로 가져가고 돌연변이 마법으로 죽음으로부터 보호합니다.
