In the juvenile stage, distinct patterns resembling a grill grid emerge on its body, and the color of its skin closely resembles a medium-rare steak. When lifted, the body feels warm and emits heat, but its activity level is not high. Due to the constant fragrance, one may inevitably feel hunger while caring for it, and it is susceptible to becoming the prey of other animals. How to protect it and resist one's own appetite is a challenging task for every dragon trainer.

成體的龍的顏色像是五~七分熟的顏色，這取決於他居住地方的溫度，所以不是每一隻龍的顏色都是相同的，通常頭部和身體的會是深色，越往尾巴末端部分則越淺。很多時候牛排龍會把尾巴部分截下來互相比賽誰最美味，他也不吝嗇跟馴龍師分享，前提是馴龍師需要受到他極大的信任，所以能吃到尾巴是一種至上的榮耀。
聽說在某些地區會有專門飼養牛排龍的地方和餐廳。

在某一個火山洞窟中，有許多的牛排龍聚集在一起，這次他們的聚會的目的是選出今年度最好吃尾巴的第一名。
「這是我加了黑胡椒和鹽的尾巴!」
「我加了許多的番茄，還有一些洋芋片的六分熟尾巴。」
「都太不特別了，請各位品嘗加上香料後煎過後用小火煮3分鐘後的尾巴。」
大家介紹尾巴的聲音此起彼落著，誰也不讓誰。
爭論不休到一半時地面突然開始搖晃，大家開始四處逃竄，轟隆隆的一聲巨響後，旁邊的一個地穴中噴出了滾燙的岩漿，一瞬間把所有參賽作品都烤熟，等大家回來後發現所有的尾巴都長得一樣了!
一陣沉默後，一隻龍緩緩開口「....真香啊，我們開始吃吧。」
最後大家決定，這次比賽大家都是第一名。
In a certain volcanic cave, many steak dragons gathered together. The purpose of this gathering is to select the most delicious tail of the year.

논쟁은 중간에 있을 때 지면이 갑자기 흔들리기 시작했습니다. 모두가 흩어지기 시작하고, 거대한 폭발 소리 뒤에 측면의 구멍에서 끓는 용암이 분출되었습니다. 모든 참가 작품이 한 순간에 익혀졌고, 돌아왔을 때 모든 꼬리가 똑같이 자란 것을 발견했습니다!
침묵이 퍼진 후, 한 마리 용이 말했습니다. '...진짜 맛있다, 우리 먹기 시작하자.'
결국, 대회 참가자 모두가 이번 대회에서 1등이다로 합의했습니다.
