캡슐에는 문이 있지만 작동하지 않기 때문에 테크네곤이 직접 캡슐을 깨고 부화한다.
이 때 날개 자리에 깨진 캡슐이 결합된다. 호기심이 많아 깨진 캡슐의 파편을 관찰하고는 하지만, 겁이 많기 때문에 실수로 파편에 찔리면 울면서 도망간다. 낮선 사람이나 드래곤을 발견하면 숨어서 관찰하는 습성이 있다.

Hatch:

Because it is very curious, it observes the fragments of the broken capsule, but because it is timid, it runs away crying if it accidentally gets stabbed by a fragment. When it spots a stranger or a dragon, it has a habit of hiding and observing.

해츨링: 하늘을 나는 드래곤들을 동경한다.
유리로 이루어진 날개는 테크네곤이 성장할수록 점점 커지긴 하지만, 비행에는 적합하지 않아 거의 날 수 없다. 테크네곤은 자신과 달리 자유롭게 날 수 있는 드래곤들을 동경하며 끊임없이 비행 연습을 하고는 한다. 멀리 날 수는 없지만 조금이라도 날 수 있다면 매우 기뻐한다.

어둠의 세력에 의해 탄생한 실험체 드래곤이다. 주로 어둠의 세력이 머물던 자리에 버려져 있으며, 과거 실험당했던 기억 때문에 겁이 많다. 부족한 기술력으로 태어났기에 신체적인 한계가 많고 다른 드래곤들에게 따돌림을 당하기도 하지만 테이머의 관리만 충분하다면 건강하게 살아갈 수 있다.

Adult

어둠의 세력이 버리고 떠난 테크네곤은, 자신이 누구인지 생각한다.
남들과는 다른 날개, 남들과 다른 신체 능력, 가끔은 자신이 드래곤이 맞는지 의심하기도 한다.
다른 드래곤들을 관찰하고 분석하며, 자신이 왜 남들과는 다른지 의문을 품는다.
이러한 시간이 길어지지 않도록 하는 것이 테이머의 역할이다.
다른 드래곤들과 다를 것 없이 돌보고, 드래곤들 무리에 자연스럽게 섞이도록 도와준다면 테크네곤은 그 누구보다도 훌륭한 친구로 성장할 것이다.
테크네곤과 함께하는 테이머들에게, 테크네곤은 실패작이 아닌 완벽한 성공작이 된다.
