Ruby dragon (a gem species like Emerald)

Description:
Egg- Slightly reddish, this Egg is wearing a crown.
Hatch- The ruby on this Hatch's forehead is very small.
Hatchling- This Hatchling can use the power of rubies.
Adult- It is a Light dragon that has a ruby embedded in its forehead. It contains the powers of fire and earth, and enjoys journeying to find the most pristine fire pits along with Red Wyvern, its greatest companion. 
It is known for being lively, energetic and extroverted, but it does not enjoy the company of Dragons with opposing elements.

They are born with a Ruby on their forehead and this is the source of their power, similar to the Emerald Dragon. It increases the defensive capabilities of its allies as well as their stamina, and as a result this dragon is prized for long journeys as they do not tire.

(*note: not in story- the male Ruby will only breed with other Dark, Fire, Dream, Earth, and Steel elements, like how Emerald male only breeds with other Emeralds)

Egg- The Egg is known to be found near fire pits and other Red Wyvern Eggs, but it is buried much deeper. It is also rarely found in Crystal Caverns and gem encrusted locations. The Egg is not fragile like the Emerald dragon, and is able to handle more injury.
Hatch- The Hatch is highly adventurous, and often becomes an escape artist, especially if the temperature is warmer outside than it is inside. It tries to find many other Hatch to play with during this stage.
Hatchling- When it is a Hatchling, it chooses its closest friends and begins going on adventures with them. It is at this stage that many lose track of Ruby Dragon as its instincts to follow adventure run high.
Adult- Once it is an Adult, it further shrinks its closest friends and may exclusively only retain relationships with other Dark, Fire, Dream, Earth, and Steel elements. Its powers from the Ruby shine bright, and the warmth protects its friends and allies and allows them to explore without ever tiring. It is spoken of in legends and voyages as the dragon that enabled cartographers to map the known lands. 

Story:
On a voyage at sea, the Ruby Dragon and the captain were best friends, and always kept each other company.

One day, a terrible storm blew them off course in a way that returning to the main route would take twice as long as expected. The captain was astonished and discouraged, but the Ruby Dragon said, "It's no problem." 

He activates the power of his ruby and found that all crewmates and the captain were re-energized for the journey, and they made the trip back on course faster than expected due to their enthusiasm.

The captain heartedly thanked the Ruby Dragon, but the dragon brushed it off, saying, "That's what friends are for!"
