Egg- This Egg has golden flames with a small golden shield in front. As even the Egg is beautiful, it is often painted by artists.
Hatch- The Hatch likes to float around and find warm places to keep its golden fire burning. It is not fond of as much fire as Phoenix Dragon, as it keeps its ornaments cool so that they will not melt.
Hatchling- The Hatchling goes out of its way to keep its fire burning cleanly and evenly, and does upkeep for its ornaments. The ornaments have become more durable to fire, so it likes hotter temperatures than when it was a Hatch.
Adult- The gorgeous Gold Phoenix Dragon loves to find places for its fire to burn beautifully. In the wild, it is usually a large rock covered in moss far from the forest, so its embers do not travel, or twigs and broken stems around the Mountain of Fire. In the Village, its fire is highly prized for its beauty and is displayed in many temples and royal buildings.
Story:
The Gold Phoenix Dragon was first born near the Mountain of Fire. Beloved by its parents, they helped its fire spread and burn beautifully. However, it became angry when they did not allow it to continue as an adult.
When it secretly tried to burn a tree, the fire quickly spread, and Gold Dragon rallied the forest dragons to help put it out. A large amount was burned, however, and the Gold Phoenix was sad. The parents let the dragon go on its own, as they knew it went behind their back, and this harsh lesson has been remembered in all its descendants.
