Steel/fire 

Lives in places with an abundance of minerals but near combustible materials, such as near mountains 

The color shows the maturity of the dragon, this can be seen in the different evolutionary stages, it is rare but some young ones have also been sighted that are much redder than usual. 

The egg is warm to the touch but in certain parts it's cold like metal. When the Drakovens are born they love to chew rocks and sticks and they play with each other trying to set the other on fire. When they are more mature, they use their own fire to practice molding metals and perfect their use of it. Adults have perfected their use of fire to such a degree that they no longer need to feed themselves in a traditional way. The flame that burns endlessly in their chest shows how healthy they are, an expert tamer will notice the change in the fire and can revive it by opening the door and pouring fuel inside.

Once in a remote forest there lived a tamer with his dragon, they spent the long winter nights huddled together next to the fireplace waiting until it was spring again to enjoy playing together outside near the river. This year was particularly harsh, the cold and the rains started much earlier and worse than they had ever seen, they soon found themselves in a difficult position as they were starting to run out of wood, so the tamer made a decision and left one morning to look for more wood and left the little dragon in the cabin, but night came and the tamer did not return. 

The little dragon, worried about the storm that was raging furiously, prepared to go out to look for the tamer when the storm stopped enough for him to be able to get out. He searched all morning and all night and still could not find him in the forest and the storm was already beginning to return more furious than before, he only had one place left to check so he headed towards the river that had overflowed hoping to find him. And he did, he was curled in on himself barely conscious trying to keep himself warm. 

He dragged his friend back to the cabin where he left him near the stove, but there was no more wood left to light a fire, so he tried to keep him warm with his own body, and as the storm continued outside the only thing he thought about was It was about keeping the tamer warm so that he would recover and they could enjoy the summer heat again and play together. And at that same moment he evolved and became the first Drakoven saving his tamer. 

At least that's what the legend says.
