[Hitting System]
- MLB 9 Innings Rivals' hitting system is based on the effective velocity.
- The timing of the hit evaluated as [Good] varies depending on the location of the pitch.
1. Hit timing
- The accuracy of the hit timing changes depending on the location of the pitch.
· Pitches that are higher and inside require faster hit timing to achieve a [Good] hit.
· Pitches that are lower and outside require slower hit timing to achieve a [Good] hit.
※ Example of [Good] hit timing for right-handed hitters
2. Hit angle
- The angle at which the batted ball is sent to the left and right varies depending on the location of the pitch.
· Pitches that are higher and inside will send the batted ball like a pulled hit.
· Pitches that are lower and outside will send the batted ball like a pushed hit.
- The skill activation conditions Pull Hitting and Push Hitting are determined by the direction of the batted ball rather than the hit timing.
· For right-handed hitters, a batted ball to the left indicates a pulled hit, whereas one to the right would indicate a pushed hit.
· For left-handed hitters, a batted ball to the right indicates a pulled hit, whereas one to the left would indicate a pushed hit.
