Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming in the November update for MLB RIVALS!

■ What is an [Update Preview]?

- It’s a regular newsletter where you can get the scoop on upcoming updates.

- Meanwhile, the [MLB RIVALS Dev Note] will continue to focus on mid-to-long-term update plans, as well as the intentions and direction behind our designs.

■ November Update Highlights

- The following key updates are scheduled for November:

* Detailed information on new content and updates will be announced separately on the update day.

New 2025 Season Special Cards

- Special Cards featuring standout players from the 2025 season will be added.

- These cards will spotlight major performers from this year, with the number of cards and pitcher/batter distribution varying by team.

New 3rd HOF Cards

- Meet a new lineup of legendary players who’ve made their mark in MLB history, now available as the 3rd batch of HOF Cards.

* Details about the 3rd HOF Cards will be announced in a separate Live Update notice.

New Moment Cards

- A new [Maestro] theme of Moment Cards will be added, featuring players who deliver steady performances built on experience.

* Details about the [Maestro] theme Moment Cards will be announced in the upcoming update notice.

- A new [2025 Performer Trio] theme of Moment Cards will be added, featuring players selected from the 2025 MLB Season Top Player Vote Event.
* Details about these Moment Cards will be announced in the upcoming update notice.

Live Match Amateur Channel

- A new Live Match Amateur Channel will be introduced for newcomers who are still getting familiar with MLB RIVALS.

- The Amateur Channel is only available to users who meet specific conditions, ensuring matchups are limited and not paired against higher-level users.

- Unlike the existing Master Channel, the Amateur Channel will run on a shorter season cycle—1 week instead of 2 weeks.

* If your Team Level and OVR meet the requirements, a separate pop-up will appear when entering Live Match, allowing you to select the Amateur Channel.

* The same Live Match gameplay rules apply to the Amateur Channel.

* At the start of each new season, you will be able to choose your channel again.

* Details about the Amateur Channel will be announced in the upcoming version update notice.

Senior Mission STEP 7

- Senior Mission STEP 7 will be added.

- A total of 4 mission types will be included.

- Complete missions to earn various rewards.

UX Improvements & Others

- A new Expert difficulty will be added to Potential Games.

- Catcher (C) and Designated Hitter (DH) will now be separated for Position Selective Packs.

- A new feature will allow you to choose between the results before and after reallocation when using a Training Reallocation Ticket.

- Outfield diving catch animations and replays will be improved.

- Running motions for baserunners and fielders will be refined.

- Ranked Battle matchmaking conditions will now refresh based on midnight of the previous day, removing any matchmaking advantage or disadvantage caused by playtime.

- The UI in League Mode will be improved to make it easier to check the number of HOF Coins earned during the week.

- After performing a HOF Normal Recruit, you’ll now be able to pre-register materials for the next recruitment period.

* Only materials can be registered during this waiting period; recruitment will become available once the waiting period has fully elapsed.

- New no-doubt home run cutscenes will be added for the players listed below.

■ Main Events in November

- The following key events are scheduled for November.

Season Prep Pitch Event

- The Season Prep Pitch Event will be held to get ready for the upcoming 2026 season.

- Pitch daily to earn rewards based on your total pitch count, including a [1,000 Limit Break Card], [Team Selective Double Signature Pack], and [Special Recruit Batch 1/2 HOF Pack].

- The [Special Recruit Batch 1/2 HOF Pack] grants one random player from the 1st and 2nd batches of HOF Cards.

* Further details will be announced in a separate notice.

Signature Trade Event

- The November Trade Event will feature one Signature pitcher and Signature batter from each team.

* Details on the trade list will be announced in a separate notice.

HOF Limit Break Event

- The [HOF Limit Break Event] will allow you to perform Limit Breaks on your owned HOF player cards.

* Further details will be announced in a separate notice.

Moment Card Events

- A series of events featuring the newly added [Maestro] theme Moment Cards will be held.

* Through these events, you’ll be able to obtain [Maestro] theme Moment Cards. Details will be announced in a separate notice.

Tiebreaker Ace Showdown Event

- The [Tiebreaker Ace Showdown] will return, where you build a roster with only 1 batter and 1 pitcher to compete in real-time tiebreaker matchups against other users.

- Earn a variety of rewards based on your rankings in various categories.
