Hello, this is the producer of MLB 9 Innings Rivals.

It has already been 5 months since we launched MLB 9 Innings Rivals in July. We truly hope everyone had an awesome year.

In this Dev Note, we'd like to tell you about our update plans scheduled for December, January, and March.

We'll start off with the December update details.

1. New Players
- About 1,000 '17-'18 season player cards will be added.
- About 650 new Special Cards will be added; as for Signature Cards, 3 batters and 2 pitchers for each team will be added.
※ '17 and '18 season player cards will be added on the Dec. 21st live update.
※ As for the new players, the quantity may be subject to change due to uncontrolled circumstances.

2. New Events and Reward Balance Adjustments
- 2 new events will be added via the December update.
- The mechanism of the new events will be different from the previous ones; users will be able to make progress on the event page.
- In addition, we'll be improving the rewards obtained from the new & previous events.

3. Improvements and Additions
- The condition for resetting potential will be improved. You can now reset potential starting from Limit Break Level 1 instead of Limit Break Level 5.
- New dugout celebration and no doubt home run animations for 2 players will be added.

Now, we'd like to talk about what we're preparing for January 2024 and season opening.

First, we'd like to explain the combination system we mentioned in the previous Dev Note.
By adding a Workshop system in the November update, users became able to craft new items with items they no longer need. We believe this system alleviated some of the inconveniences since users can now obtain crafting tickets based on the total scout attempts and craft more valuable card packs such as the Team Selective Signature Pack by using Special Cards they don't need as materials.

However, we're aware that there should be more efficient ways to utilize duplicate Special Cards of the preferred team and/or preferred team player cards that are no longer needed depending on the lineup formation. 
Thus, we're currently developing a different system that involves a special crafting method. We'll notify you of the details around February 2024.

The following additional updates are underway.

1. Higher League Mode Difficulty Added & Quicky Play Efficiency Improved
- We'll be adding new difficulty and rewards to meet the needs of users who wish to aim higher.
- Plus, we'll be improving the efficiency of Quick Play.

2. New Event Game Type
- More events with different types rather than the current selection method (Easy, Normal, Hard) will be introduced so you can enjoy the events continuously.

3. In-game Graphics Quality Improvements
- We'll be improving the quality of the in-game graphics by adding a sliding animation to avoid the tag during base stealing, improving the throwing motion for pitchers, strikeout animation, and full swing movements.
- We'll be adjusting the balance of vision/patience stats and the value of players with low aLA(average launch angle) despite having a higher slugging percentage.

4. New Special Card
- We're planning on adding many 23' Special Cards before the season begins and Special Cards of players before the 2000s during the first half of 2024. We are preparing various characters by considering the balance of special players on each team.

5. Others
- Various content is being developed while preparing for the season opening after January.

: An exclusive event to help new and returning users settle in
- We're also preparing content where you can utilize live players.
