Hello, this is the producer of MLB 9 Innings Rivals. 
 

A month has passed since the official global launch of MLB 9 Innings Rivals on Jul. 5th. 

We are incredibly grateful and would like to thank everyone for the unwavering support. 

After the launch, v1.01.00 was updated on Jul. 26th. We've added some QoL improvements, such as a consecutive upgrade function, player card detailed information screen, and improved home run celebrations by Shohei Ohtani (LAA) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD) and other gameplay elements.

We've received positive feedback from the event missions added later for those who had trouble obtaining points for the Trade Event. We will carefully consider the insightful feedback you send us and endeavor to create and operate content everyone can enjoy. 

We've had some regrettable moments preparing the first update. 

We had to wait until the next update to introduce more exciting content and improvements to the UX. 
 

With this dev note, I'd like to briefly introduce the August update and our future plans. 

The August update will add the postseason pick'em and league mode statistics system. We are also preparing for improvements in visual effects and other functions. 

1. Postseason Pick'em 

• - With the pick'em, you can predict the winning teams - AL/NL Wild Card Series, Division Series, League Championship Series, and the World Series - and earn rewards based on the results. 
   

2. Play Statistics 

• - You can examine a variety of team and player records achieved in the league mode. 
• - Batting average by strike zone location, batting average with runners in scoring position, guest hitting success rate, batting-related records (such as batting timing and direction), and pitching-related records (such as pitch rate and batting average by location, payoff pitch rates for strikeouts, strikeout/ground ball/fly ball rate) will be provided. 

3. New Special Cards and Unique Forms/Faces 

• - One starting pitcher, one relief pitcher, and three new batters will be added to each team as Signature Cards. Prime and Impact Cards for players from that year will also be added. 
• - Unique forms and faces will be added to the game regularly, starting with the August update. 
   

4. UI/UX and Visual Effects 

• - The auto lineup function is now more accessible. 
• - We plan to introduce new features such as the inning change, walk-off walks, and home run celebrations for certain teams. In particular, we plan to continuously add more special celebrations of various teams. 
• - We will improve the user interface so you can readily view your accumulated scout rewards, list of scouts for pickup, etc. 

We also want to introduce some of the main content we are currently developing. 

These will not be available via the August update, but our team will try to introduce them soon. 

1. Club Battle 

• - We're designing content that can be played between clubs. 

2. Card Development Transfer System 

• - We plan to implement a system that transfers some of the stats accumulated on your favorite player's Impact, Prime, and Signature Cards to other Impact, Prime, and Signature Cards of that player. 

3. Live Match Improvement 

• - We plan to implement pitcher stamina and rotation systems for starting pitchers. 
• - There will be a separate lineup for live matches, and we plan to develop various pitcher management strategies to accommodate your deck situation.
   

This is all we have prepared for the very first dev note.
