Greetings from Com2uS!

First off, we want to sincerely thank you all for your continued passion and support for MLB RIVALS.

With the May update, we introduced the legendary and iconic Hall of Fame players who’ve shaped MLB history, along with various improvements across the game.

We’ve been closely reviewing your feedback regarding the HOF Cards, related systems, and other in-game features. 

Based on your input, we’re continuing to fine-tune the early-game flow, in-game play balance, content structure, growth systems, and event rewards to deliver an even better experience.

Today, we’d like to share a sneak peek of what’s coming in the upcoming version update and live updates.

Please note that all update schedules, balances, and features are subject to change.

[Next Update]

■ All-Star Game Events

- A celebration of the stars who lit up the first half — the MLB All-Star Game is here!

- We’re preparing a wide array of All-Star-themed content and events, including a Play Event, an Event Shop, an Event Game, and exclusive Scouts.

- We'll soon share a separate notice with full details.

■ Ranked Slugger World Championship Event

- A brand-new event will be added, running separately from the regular Ranked Slugger season.

- While the core gameplay will stay the same, each of your players can only participate once per round during the event.

- Each round will feature up to 30 players, and rankings will be determined by adding up the records of the top three.

- Certain players will receive special boost effects during this event, such as a +20 Upgrade Level or a guaranteed minimum Potential of S+ in their first slot.

■ Free Position Training Reset System

- We’re introducing a free reset system for Position Training main material slots and Level Bonus effects.

- You’ll be able to use the Main Material Free Reset feature once per week, selecting one position slot.

- You’ll also get one free chance per month to reset the Bonus Effect on a selected position slot.

- These free reset opportunities will be provided once per respective period and will expire if not used.

■ Additional Improvements

- The Ranked Battle result screen will be improved to show team and player records, while highlighting the players who performed well.

- The Player Index and Player Info screens will be updated to display card sources more clearly.

- A new victory animation will be added for Ranked Tournament winners.

- The Use Stars Event will be revamped, and a new Purchase Thank-You Event will be introduced.

- The League Heat-Up Event UI will be improved to better display boosted reward rates during the event.

- Items useful for your progression will be added to the Content Shop.

- The names of each HOF Player Card’s unique Potentials will be updated (Names only. The card performance is unaffected).

[Upcoming Update Highlights]

- We're also preparing HOF Card exclusive events that are designed to help you develop your HOF Cards, including a HOF Card Transcendence Event.

- New Arcade Mode Event: Play using a lineup composed of only one batter and pitcher.

- Emote Feature: You’ll be able to express yourself using emotes in Chat and Live Match.

- Tutorial Improvements: You'll be able to skip content tutorials quickly.

- Called Game System: A called game rule will be added to end Live Matches early when the score gap is huge.

- Early-Game Flow Improvements: The tutorial and early-game progression will be improved to help new users settle in smoothly.

- Unified Mission UI: Mission menus will be integrated to reduce the hassle of navigating between them.

- Color Vision Accessibility Option: A new option will be added to help users with color vision deficiency distinguish between balls and strikes during pitch guesses.

- Expanded Commentary: Additional lines from caster Joe Davis and commentator Orel Hershiser will be added for more immersive gameplay.

- Batter Animation Improvements: Batter check swing motions will become more varied.

- New No-Doubt Home Run Animation: A new no-doubt home run cutscene emphasizing the batter’s expression will be added.

- Sliding Animation improvements: Leg-first sliding motions will be improved and diversified.

- New Steal Replay Animation: A new replay scene will be added for base steals.

[Mid- to Long-Term Improvements on Early Progress Support and Content Rewards]

- Continuous improvements will be made to better support new users and those who face difficulties in their progression.

- Lowered Early Growth Difficulty: The upgrade difficulty for Season, Live, (FA) Special, and Moment Cards below Upgrade Level +10 will be eased. (June)

- Main Content Reward Improvements:

 · Ranked Battle Tier Achievement Challenge rewards will include large amounts of Limit Break Tickets, Ultimate Coins, and Upgrade Cards. (May, Updated)

 · A Superior Skill Change Ticket will be available for purchase once a month at the Ranked Coin Shop. (June)

 · Ranked Slugger Tier Achievement Challenge rewards will be boosted significantly. (July)

 · Live Match Tier Achievement Challenge rewards will include large amounts of Limit Break Tickets, Ultimate Coins, and Upgrade Cards. (August)

 · RBI Battle Tier Achievement Challenge and ranking rewards will be boosted. (September)

- Daily & Weekly Mission Reward Adjustments: Rewards will see a slight increase. (July)

- New Growth Events: Special events to support HOF Card development will be introduced. (After August)

- Limit Break Step Up Event Adjustments: The amount of Limit Break EXP obtainable will slightly increase. (August)

* We will continue to review and improve other content rewards across the game.
