User Guide Contest - Dispatch quick guide
Dispatch missions can be accessed from ‘Queen Annie’. They are very easy to complete and you can pick from a variety of resources as possible rewards.
Basically, you have a map with tiles and you begin from a starting point and path your way to rewards across the map. You path your way using the heroes you own.
Each hero can travel a different number of tiles. Additionally some heroes provide an additional bonus if you use them(this is indicated by an icon next to the hero). You can see the bonus details when you select the hero. The bonus could be additional resources or something like increase of affinity to all heroes etc.
1. So before you start, you can check the ‘suggest route’ box. Either way you can decide not to use the suggested path.
2. Select the resource you want to path to. Click on Unit.

3. The suggested path will be indicated to you.

4. You then just have to select the appropriate unit (by that I mean you select the unit to match the number of tiles to travel). Then drag/direct the arrow along the path you selected to take. It's of course best to select a hero that gives you a bonus reward.

Tips:
Note that if your targeted reward is crystals, and you pick a hero with a different bonus, you will not get the bonus.
2nd Tip: you can also take longer path if that allows you to use units with bonuses.

3rd tip: you can also use 2 or more units instead of 1 unit that could complete a section of a path. For example, you can complete 4 tiles with a unit, but that unit gives no bonuses, then check if you can replace with 2 units (3+1 or 2+2) which gives bonuses.
There is a limit to the number of heroes you can deploy. It will tell you if you exceeded the limit. Anyway the aim is to optimize the amount of resources you can get.
5. So after your 1st unit is placed, repeat for the 2nd part of the path with another unit. Repeat until you reach destination. Then it will tell you can you dispatch. You can then claim the reward.
6. You will notice a special reward/treasure chest on the map. It is marked with a ‘?’. For those, you do not dispatch units to collect them. What you do is when you are pathing to another of the other normal rewards, just make sure that the path you take also paths over the treasure chest. Once you collect the reward at destination, it will also collect that chest.
Note that it seems you cannot do the same thing with normal rewards, that is you cannot path to a normal reward, and path over another reward and expect to collect both at the end.
I will try to add screenshot later.
