Developer Notes: Volume 1

Hello, Commanders!
I'm GM Tia from the Light of the Stars, bringing you the latest news for Light of the Stars.

We have gathered all the feedback from the previous Beta Test(which happened only in Korea) and we decided to release Developer's Note 1 in response.

Before sharing the contents of the Developer's Note, I would like to express deep gratitude for the immense support and interest shown by commanders during the Beta Test period. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and would like to provide answers from the development team regarding your suggestions.

๐ŸŒŸ Developer's Greeting | Before the Notes
Hello, this is the Light of the Stars development team.

Light of the Stars is an immersive strategy RPG that has been in development for over two years, allowing players to showcase their unique strategies through character and skill combinations.

We are genuinely grateful for the enthusiastic support during the Beta Test. It was a valuable experience for us, highlighting areas where we can further enhance and refine the game for the official launch. Many suggestions were received during the Beta Test, and we are committed to addressing them sincerely and sharing updates on the current development progress.

๐ŸŒŸ Developer's Note 1-1 | Balancing Character Abilities
First, let me address the most frequently raised issue. We received numerous inquiries regarding the SR hero <Aquila> Salaph. Initially, the class called 'Flier' was designed to disrupt the opponent's strategies on the field and create variables as a crack role. However, Salaph was set to be excessively powerful, capable of single-handedly destroying towers or clearing stages when paired with specific heroes.

This was not aligned with our intended diverse strategic gameplay, so we have adjusted Salaph's performance to make it difficult to clear stages alone and restricted some buff effects. While we are pleased that the Flier class has fulfilled its role as a crack role, we regret that Salaph's overpower performance compromised strategic diversity.

Many commanders expressed concern about this, leading us to adjust the balance unavoidably. We want to inform you of these adjustments through this opportunity.

๐ŸŒŸ Developer's Note 1-2 | Improving and balancing adventure difficulty
Many commanders raised concerns about the increase in difficulty in adventure stages after completing the initial tutorial. After analyzing player data, we noticed that many commanders faced difficulties in specific stages. We want commanders to gradually feel the increasing difficulty as a puzzle to solve. Therefore, we are rebalancing stage to prevent frustration at certain stages.

We will continue to strive to provide enjoyable strategies for many players in the future.

๐ŸŒŸ Developer's Note 1-3 | In-Game Improvements
Many commanders requested optimizations and UI improvements. We are carefully reviewing all the suggestions received and considering areas for implementation, including UI optimizations, reducing touch frequency for convenience, and resolving overlapping pop-up bugs.

We are continually working to provide a user-friendly experience.

โœจ Concluding Developer's Note Volume.1
Barring major changes or issues, we are looking forward to greeting you soon with the official launch. The advantage of live service is listening to feedback and continuously improving areas that need refinement. We will continue to listen to your feedback to enhanced your experience with Light of the Stars.

The next Developer's Note: Volume 2 will be available after the official launch. Until then, we appreciate your expectations and support.

Thank you.
Light of the Stars Development Team.
