We would like to explain the return of SSR Hero <Sylus>, mentioned in the 08/22(Thu) update notice, as many of you found it curious.

Also, we would like to inform you about the alterations of the future summoning content.

【Alteration of SSR Pick Up Summonses】

Since April 18^th, Light of the Stars has introduced 2 new heroes every two weeks.

We launched the game with 49 heroes and have added new heroes starting from Lottie and Serena, our first Summoning Pick Up Heroes, to Viego, our latest new hero. We have introduced a total of 67 heroes so far.

18 weeks have passed since we started our service. We have updated new heroes at a fast pace without a break.

We have experienced many alterations to our schedules and sometimes we had to discard the heroes we have prepared.

It was because the commanders’ game-playing control and analysis of the game were more proficient and profound than our developers had expected and because the trend of heroes had changed from what we had first planned.

We have made adjustments to the balance of some heroes we already introduced and decided to take more time with a few new heroes to give them more stability before introducing them. We have made these decisions to meet your standards.

Due to this process, we have fewer new heroes we can introduce to you than we have planned. We were informed that if we kept up with this pace, we would run out of new heroes to update in a short time.

Inevitably, we have decided to introduce you to one new hero and bring an existing Pick Up hero back every two weeks.

Providing Pick Up Summonses of a new hero A and an existing hero B isn’t rare in the hero collection games, however, since we have always introduced 2 new heroes every two weeks, we understand that this alteration could be disappointing and unpleasant.

We know many of you have already upgraded all of the heroes you own since we have provided summoning currencies as rewards.

However, we could not introduce you to the incomplete heroes just for new content. We believe that this is the time we have to take a break to keep our game sound and sustainable.

【Alteration of UR Pick Up Summonses】

This alteration is related to what we have explained earlier.

Our UR Heroes received evaluations that their performance did not meet the expectations when it was difficult to acquire them.

We would like to talk about Sardius. Many commanders have raised questions about his durability.

The planning intention of Sardius was to make a hero who deals tremendous damage in a short time.

However, we have realized many commanders feel unrewarded since the hero’s duration is too short. 

We have improved a few heroes’ balance.

When you look at the balance improvements of existing heroes (Leviathan, Riaz), you can see that the percentage of skills were altered but the form of skills or position of the hero did not change.

Leviathan has a powerful AoE ultimate skill, but she is a hero who summons a dragon.

When we introduced her, many commanders felt that the damage and AoE of her skill were disappointing, and the summoned dragon was too weak. It was different from our planning intention.

Therefore, we improved her uniqueness and strengthened the summoned dragon rather than raising the amount of dealt damage or ATK SPD.

Riaz is a hero who becomes stronger as he takes damage.

According to the planning intention, he was supposed to remain on the battlefield for a long time and become stronger. However, the problem was that he died too quickly.

Therefore, we added the HP recovery effect to improve his durability so that he could fully show his unique concept.

Sardius already had a high damage percentage, so we could not raise his durability more.

Since we have taken a long time to test and fix him before introducing him, we hope you will use him with a strategy to keep him alive and fully use him.

As he was a hero planned to bring a short and powerful impact, he might have disappointed many commanders.

Our developing team is making efforts to maximize a hero’s strength without losing their planned concept. However, it is difficult to firmly propose how we are going to make improvements in the future.

Our UR Heroes have become an issue every time they were introduced, as they were core heroes of our game.

We are trying our best to consider your opinions to improve the UR Hero balance, but many commanders have different opinions on the same issue.

In fact, when we adjusted Leviathan, a few commanders reacted negatively, as they thought she was strong enough.

We feel deeply responsible for the different opinions on the hero balance as we are supposed to provide stable service. We believe that it is our duty to supplement the faults and bring satisfying new heroes all the time.

Therefore, we have decided to examine the new UR Heroes more thoroughly before we introduce them to you.

We have introduced a new UR Hero every month, but from now on, we will introduce a new UR Hero every two months.

We will open a permanent UR Summons to enable commanders to acquire UR Heroes conveniently. It will not contain Pick Up rate.

The permanent UR Summons will be open like the [Revelation of Stars]. It will not feature any Pick Up heroes but will be open all the time, providing chances to acquire UR heroes. Just like the UR Pick Up Summons, it will guarantee the same SSR hero rate.

We are sorry to inform you that we have lengthened the period of the new UR Hero introduction. We will put in our best efforts to examine and supplement our heroes.

To summarize, we plan to introduce the new SSR and UR heroes less frequently than before.

We have decided to focus on enhancing our plans and development capability for more sound and sustainable service.

We hope you will understand that it was unavoidable to make such a decision.
