Developer Note #10

Hello, Summoners!
This is PD Leo!
I'm extremely humbled and pleased to bring you our Developer Note #10.
We will continue to do our best to keep you informed of changes while collecting and reflecting your feedback.
Now, we'll be covering some important announcements today, so make sure to check out the details below!
◆ 1.9.5 Update Upcoming Content and Changes
Summoner Level Reset
First of all, we've decided to reset all Summoner Levels.
Originally, we had planned to simply expand the ways to obtain Magic Essence, and we mentioned that Summoner Levels would not be reset.
However, as many of you continued to share your concerns, we began to question whether sticking to that plan was truly the best choice for Minion Rumble.
After much discussion, we came to the conclusion that rather than requiring everyone to develop all Summoners equally, it would be better to reset Levels so that players can freely try out different Summoners and enjoy the game in new ways.
We believe this direction will make the experience more exciting and rewarding for everyone.
Therefore, this change will be applied right away in the upcoming 1.9.5 patch.
You will now be able to upgrade and test Summoners such as BROWN, CONY, and Kain to see how strong they are!
Since all Summoner Levels will be reset after the 1.9.5 update, you can go ahead and use your Magic Essence without any worries.
BROWN & CONY Summoner Pieces
After the BROWN and CONY update, many of you pointed out that once you reached 6★ with these Summoners, it was difficult to make use of the extra Summoner Pieces. To address this, we added an option in the Roulette Event's Exchange Shop to exchange these Pieces for other items. Currently, each of the 6 items can be exchanged up to 10 times, but with the upcoming update this limit will be increased to 200 times, so you'll have plenty of ways to spend any surplus Pieces.
Champion Stat Calculation Changes and High-Grade Stat Improvements
Champions have currently established themselves as a core part of the top meta. Each Champion has different multipliers applied to the Summoner's ATK, HP, and DEF, but because the stat increases by grade and level are relatively small, there are cases where a higher-grade and higher-level Champion ends up having a weaker ATK.
This happens because the multipliers taken from the Summoner's stats keep scaling up, while the growth of the Champions' own base stats remains small, which makes those upgrades feel less impactful.
To address the issue where even Champions of the same class had different stats and the progress from grade and level felt underwhelming, we'll be making the following changes:
- Multipliers applied to Summoner stats will be unified across Champions of the same class.
- Base stats gained by grade and by level will be increased for Unique+1 or higher Champions, so the differences become more significant as they develop.
With these changes, upgrading a Champion's grade and level should feel much more rewarding, adding greater impact and enjoyment to the growth process.
New Chapters 221 - 240
Since top-ranking Summoners are clearing stages faster than expected, we’ve decided to add new chapters.
This wraps up our 1.9.5 patch notice. But wait—there's more!
But that’s not all—here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming 1.10 update to help you plan ahead!
◆ 1.10 Update Sneak Peek
Introducing Legendary+4 Gear
Many of you now have Legendary to Legendary +3 Gear, so we believe the time has come to introduce Mythical Gear.
Currently, Gear can be promoted up to Legendary +3, and Champions can be promoted up to Legendary +4, after which they can also be promoted to Mythical Champions.
In line with this, Gear will also receive a new Mythical tier, and Legendary +4 Gear will be introduced.
The rules for transcending it to Mythical Gear will follow the same system as Legendary Gear Promotion, using Legendary Gear as materials.
However, considering that many of you have already scrapped your Gear, transcending to Mythical will not require an identical piece of the same part. Instead, Sparkles will be used as materials.
Please note that to transcend into Mythical, Legendary +4 Gear will still be required. In other words, to make a Legendary +4 Weapon, you will still need a Legendary Weapon of the same part, though it doesn't have to be the exact same Weapon.
Both Weapons and Armor can be promoted to Legendary +4, but in the 1.10 update, only Mythical Weapons will be added first. Mythical Armor will follow in the next patch (1.11).
So if you're aiming for Legendary +4 Gear, be sure to take these details into account when planning ahead.
Introducing the Weapon Conversion System
Up until now, each Summoner had their own Weapon, which meant you had to upgrade everything from scratch whenever you switched Summoners. With the addition of Mythical Gear and the Summoner Level Reset, we've decided to introduce a Weapon Conversion system to reduce the burden of upgrading Weapons.
Please note that only Weapons of the same grade can be converted. We'll be sharing more details in a future Developer's Note.
Kain Update
We've been teasing a Kain buff update for some time now. Well, it's finally here—Kain will receive a buff in the 1.10 update. With the introduction of Mythic Gear, Kain will receive improvements in performance that stand out, along with direct buffs to Kain himself.
Aside from this, version 1.10 includes an unprecedented variety of updates. We've covered the most important ones today, but we have more in development, so stay tuned for those. We will provide details on the Sparkle Dungeon and other content in the coming weeks.
Phenomenal rewards, including various summon and progress items, have been prepared from Oct. 3 to Oct. 12 to celebrate the new month, so make sure you don't miss out!
Thank you!
