Hello, This is the Tiny Farm Remaster development team.
 

It has been a week since the launch. We did our best to bring satisfaction to our farmers with the remastered version of Tiny Farm. However, after seeing multiple issues post-launch, we have realized once again that there were shortcomings on our part. We are committed to resolving these issues, ensuring a more stable service with fewer errors, and improving various systems to make Tiny Farm Remaster more enjoyable for our farmers.

Today, we would like to explain the issues that have occurred so far, the system-related problems that we are aware of, and our plans for the future.
 

🔹 Major Issues

Server Instability and Client Errors
Since the launch, the number of players who joined Tiny Farm Remaster exceeded our expectations. Due to the large influx of concurrent users, the servers could not handle the load, resulting in connection and chat instability. On the first day alone, we expanded the servers and database three times. Additionally, multiple errors were discovered, which caused inconvenience due to necessary maintenance and patches. Currently, the service has stabilized, and there are no significant connection issues. We will continue to work towards providing a more stable environment.
 

Gold Box Issue
There was an issue where certain animal breeding processes resulted in excessive unintended rewards from the Gold Box. The discrepancy was 40 times higher than intended, which created a situation where gold could be generated indefinitely, requiring urgent fixes.

While fixing this issue, we understand that it may have caused confusion for farmers who relied on this method for gold acquisition. We are currently in the process of refunds and rollbacks and will complete them as soon as possible.
 

Probability Disclosure Errors
We discovered errors in the existing probability information and have updated it to reflect accurate data. Providing precise information is crucial, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion. We will conduct more thorough verification in the future to regain your trust.
 

Day 5 Attendance Reward – Tiny Farm Animal Certificate
The animal certificate is available for purchase in the shop using Bells or Gold, with its price increasing based on the number of purchases. Since the attendance reward provided a certificate equivalent to the Bell-purchase version, it unintentionally impacted the future cost of purchasing additional certificates with Bells.

Due to insufficient explanations, this has caused misunderstandings, and since the reward cannot be used freely at will, it has led to inconvenience. To address this, starting with newly created accounts, the Day 5 attendance reward will be replaced with 5 Friendship Tokens.
 

Various Abuses
Several cases of abuse have been identified and addressed:

Fixed an issue where repeating friend addition/removal resulted in unlimited Affection gain.

Fixed an issue where players could repeatedly complete village missions by being expelled and rejoining a village.

Fixed an exploit where animals could be duplicated through a specific method in storage, allowing players to breed more animals than they actually owned.

Additionally, we have detected instances where new accounts were created to transfer gold to main accounts. We are working on system changes to block any form of unintended gameplay.

Preventing abuse is one of our top priorities after fixing critical bugs. The anti-abuse system will be implemented as soon as possible, ensuring fair gameplay for all farmers. While we cannot disclose specific details of these preventive measures to avoid potential exploitation, please rest assured that we are actively working on solutions.

🔹 System Issues

Severe Resource Shortage After Level 31
Many farmers have expressed difficulty progressing after reaching level 31. This is primarily due to the expiration of beginner buffs that provided benefits such as:

Reducing Affection recharge time from 10 minutes to 3 minutes.

50% discount on breeding costs.

Free Bell cost for upgrading animals to level 2.

Once these buffs disappear at level 31, resource acquisition becomes significantly more difficult. Before the launch of Tiny Farm Remaster, we carefully considered feedback from original Tiny Farm players, who preferred a slow-paced, relaxing gameplay experience where animals are not obtained too easily to maintain their value. Consequently, we took a more conservative approach to balancing. However, we now realize that the beginner buffs created an unexpected imbalance, making progression beyond level 31 feel excessively difficult.

Due to this system, some players deliberately avoid leveling up, and the faster Affection recharge rate requires over 10 logins per day to maximize its use. Additionally, the sudden increase in gold and Bell costs has made the game feel significantly harder.

To address these concerns, we are considering:

Adjusting the supply and demand of Gold and Bells post-level 31.

Reworking the Affection recharge speed and method.

Modifying the beginner buffs so that they are based on a set duration or total usage rather than being tied to levels. This will prevent abnormal gameplay strategies that keep players at level 30 indefinitely.

Gold Acquisition and Consumption
Upon reaching level 31, the removal of the 50% breeding cost discount creates a noticeable impact. Additionally, gold sources are limited, making it harder to obtain. The issue is worsened because the amount of gold earned from selling animals and boxes is lower than the gold required for breeding, discouraging players from breeding altogether.

To improve this:

We will introduce more ways to acquire gold through regular gameplay.

We will adjust the breeding system so that consistent breeding results in a net gain of gold over time.

Lack of Bell Tree from Original Tiny Farm
In Tiny Farm Remaster, Bells are the most valuable currency, primarily acquired through in-app purchases. While we had planned to introduce a production building for Bell acquisition after the game had stabilized, we did not provide prior notice regarding this. Many farmers have requested a stable source of Bells, so we will prioritize implementing this feature sooner than originally planned.
 

🔹 Additional Improvements and Events
We have received numerous suggestions regarding convenience features, system improvements, and new events. While we have taken note of all feedback, many improvements have been delayed due to the need to address critical issues first. Once these urgent matters are resolved, we will focus on delivering meaningful updates and events as soon as possible.

We understand that providing a stable service and quickly addressing all issues should have been our top priority.
