[Notice] Changes to Update Schedule & Planned Features

We would like to inform you of changes to next week’s update schedule and to previously announced update plans.

▣ Update Schedule Change Notice
■ Details
- There will be no regular maintenance update in the third week of May (next week).
- The next maintenance update is scheduled for May 29, 2025 (Thu).
▣ Changes to Planned Update Content
■ Details
- The “server merge” announced in the May 14 (Thu) update notice will not be carried out.
- Please see the developer comment below for the reason.
| # Cancellation of Oceania & South America Server Merge |
We are cancelling the Oceania/South America server merge that had been announced for May 29 (Thu).
Through continued monitoring we heard concerns from Tamers playing on these servers regarding the advance notice of the merge, and we consider those concerns reasonable; therefore, we wish to accommodate your feedback.
Dragon Village Collection is developed with the idea that it is a small society where Tamers create a miniature culture by interacting with others. We believed that servers with small populations would inevitably face issues enjoying content in the future, so we planned the merge.
However, among the concerns raised were negative effects such as cultural differences between communities, disruption of the in-game economy, language and cultural barriers, and censorship issues. We believe these points need deeper consideration, and above all we realized that proceeding unilaterally without first asking Tamers for their opinions was a problem.
This is something we promised to correct, and we are reflecting on it.
In the future, if a server merge should become unavoidable, we will formally solicit your opinions and then proceed.
