The hatch takes valuable items like food from the pouch. The pouch isn’t a fabulous accessory its a important organ in its body to store food.
This hatchling can hunt animals
The hatchling now hunts animals because it’s meat stored in the pouch was already eaten. It now hunts animals to satisfy its hunger. It will rise its tiny wings and both its claw-like tail extensions and its real claws to kill the prey instantly.
It is an animal dragon that hunts.
Vixen first will slowly creep up on its prey then opening its wings then slashing with its claws then finally eat its prey in one bite. It does this because if it doesn’t eat anything its ears will twitch and then start getting the zoomies and will go insane until it passes out from exhaustion.

Vixen was hungry so it creeped up on poor, poor Jimon. “Oh Oh Oh an egg! Quite the delicious meal in deed hehehe~” But Jimon used their telekinetic powers to lift up Vixen, Spin her around and drop her. “I will never be eaten not on my watch! Even though I don’t even wear one! Vixen spun around like her was on a Mach 2 merri go round. “OW!” “Well next time I will catch you pesky Jimon!” But Vixen soon realized she had a rat in her pouch. “Oh! A rat! Nom Nom Nom!” “La-di-la-la-do-la~”
Jimon then found nuri. “Jimon where were you?” “Well Nuri a dragon tried to eat me.” Jimon replied slightly embarrassed.
