Egg

Egg desc: This egg feeds on solar energy.

 

Hatch

Hatch desc: This hatch spends most of it's time underground.

 

Hatchling

Hatchling desc: This hatchling uses solar powered sparks for energy.

 

Adult

Adult desc:

This dragon is rarely ever seen, living deep underground in dark caves. It recieves it's power from solar energy, only visiting the surface to recharge the glowing spots on it's body. 

 

Story/Lore:

Solaris are born on the surface, as the egg takes in energy to the sun to hatch. When it hatches, it retreats underground and uses the energy it gained as an egg to survive underground. It only returns when necessary to recharge the glowing spots on it's body, which store it's energy. As it grows, it produces sparks of energy that grow into flames that will store extra energy.

Solaris born under solar eclipses are more powerful, and do not need to return to the surface ever.

If a Solaris fully runs out of energy, it will lose it's power and will only gain it back on a solar eclipse, and must stay in the light until the eclipse ends.
