"How tragedy befell" [story]
The tiny baby dragon crawled from its egg, and the first thing Miseria saw was a man in royal attire and what Miseria first heard were cheers of praise.
Miseria had grown in a powerful kingdom, it was raised as if it were as wonderful as the king, maybe even higher in status than the king himself.
as Miseria grew, it asked the king "Why am treated as so well, like i am a gift from the heavens?"
"because you may help our kingdom prosper" replied the king
Miseria did not know what to make of this. It flew to a cave to think.
"what did the king mean?"
and so eventually Miseria found out, Miseria was appointed to protect the kingdom, at first it felt wonderful! it could save people!
and it did save people, but...there were soon many attackers. the lands around were not so peaceful.
then Miseria heard a scream from the castle.
the king had died.
Miseria had failed.
and so it weeped. it was enveloped by its misery.
the tragedy broke the beast.
and so grief took over Miseria.
It had begun to wallow in its cave as its kingdom was turned to rubble.
and Miseria changed. Miseria changed for the worse.
Miseria never opens its eyes anymore. Miseria doesn't WANT to see anything.
rumor has it, that near the old kingdom, you can hear weeping.
