Based loosely off of the cave dwelling salamander called: Olm, the Egg Olm is a dragon that is perpetually obsessed with sensing the creatures inside dragon eggs that have not yet been born.

Because they have no eyes, live in incredibly unforgiving conditions, and cannot ever leave the water their whole life, they have developed other senses that are much more heightened.  Their senses of feeling are very strong. They have lots of other amazing physical, life longevity, and regeneration abilities, but their favorite and most prized is the ability to communicate with and understand eggs while they have not yet been born.

Egg Olms cannot see or navigate the world like the other dragons, they can't understand the world that other dragons live in. About the only existence they can understand is one that an egg lives, underwater in complete darkness, hunting little shrimpy creatures, sometimes in very difficult temperatures.

Because of this unique existence, Egg Olms are unable to communicate in most ways with other dragons, and can fully communicate only with eggs. It is this great limitation that becomes a strength to them in that they can communicate some things about what is inside the egg to other dragons, given that the other dragons can unscramble the meaning of the symbols Egg Olms use to talk among their own species.

I understand if all of these abilities sound like ideas you don't want to choose, so consider these other ability ideas that are already ingame: Hug egg and decrease growth time, or prophesy 1 untrained stat.

Little dragon fact: The eggs in the pictures are shown with the dragon form inside because Egg Olms can sense their forms inside, and do not trace symbols or ‘talk’ to the butt, they make sure they are 'talking' to the baby dragon's head.

Egg Olm egg^ 

Description: This egg starts moving more around other eggs

Egg Olm Hatch^ (Males have short frilly gills that do not exceed the length of the Horns, located behind their Horns, pictured here is a female with no gills behind her Horns. This form's gills would be the darkest color on the adult's fins if the gills were present here.)

Description: This hatch, although tiny, is mighty and will not stop rocking, cuddling, and interacting with other eggs.

Egg Olm Hatchling^ (size relativity because egg under chin is same egg as in Egg Olm hatch picture)

Desciption: This Hatchling curls itself gently around as many eggs as it can and traces symbols on them constantly.

Egg Olm Adult ^ (fin is always on the back of the spine)

Description: This dragon is constantly tracing symbols on its hoard of eggs. It does not care where the eggs come from, but fiercely defends them if you try to take them away. It seems to know what the eggs need before their tamer even knows!
