Story / Lore

It's particularly cold out today. The small Bunegeno's stomach growls, its been at least 2 days without a proper meal. The Bunegeno shivers, stumbling around the vast forest slowly. If the Bunegeno does not keep moving, it is at risk of being eaten by predators, or maybe even a close relative. The Bunegeno has no choice but to keep moving. After some time the Bunegeno sees a a feint light amidst the leaves of the forest. Desperate and starving, it collects what energy it has left and goes after the light.

It's common for chefs of all kind to go out foraging for elusive foods, and tonight starts out like any other. However, today fate will seem to favor a poor young man who is looking for their first breakthrough in the industry. As he looks around, inspecting local fauna, he hears a noise near a shrub close by. His curiosity peaks, and as he approaches the area where the movement was heard, to his surprise a small dragon pops out, cold and malnourished.

The young man quickly picks the young hatch up and rushes towards the warmth of his home. Upon returning, he prepares the dragon some warm water and some spare desserts he had laying around. The dragon swiftly gobbles up the food, and to the young man's delight, the dragon immediately perks up again, begging for more.

Since that day, the young man and the Bunegeno would become inseparable, becoming particularly famous for the use of the Bunegeno's signature whipped cream. People from all over the world come to try the desserts from their bakery, and their unique take of sweets would be an inspiration for all of cuisine.
