Acholotl Dragon's Story

The dragon was tasked with protecting the lake from the desert's heat. The large oasis was beneficial to all. Should it dry up, the desert and all the lived on it would begin to perish. 

Strangely, the acholotl dragon senses that the lake was lower than usual. The summer's heat could not have emptied it so soon. Panicked, the dragon searched for an additional source of heat. What could have caused this? 

Unbeknownst to the dragon, the bearded lizard dragon had dropped by and was satisfying its thirst. 

Eventually, the acholotl dragon heard the loud gulps and discovered the bearded lizard dragon. The source found, the dragon relaxed. It was only a friend.
