Description:
Egg: This egg is covered in crystals.

This egg can be found hiding in clouds. If any of the orbs or crystals on the egg are damaged then it will not hatch. The crystals will heat up and emit a bright flash if the egg is disturbed.
 

Hatch: The hatch is clumsy and trying to fly.
Once hatched the comet dragon is small and clumsy. A mysterious orb always hovers around the hatch and will try to guide it. It will try to wriggle or move around slowly like a seal with its short front fins on the ground. The hatch is not very good at using its crystals power and are bad at flying. They practice by leaping from tall places, they often fail and fall to the ground in tears. The orb appears to encourage them.
 

Hatchling: The hatchling spends all its time in the air playing with the orb.
The hatchling has become an expert flyer, it can make quick and agile movements in the air with their wings. The short fins at the front are used to help it maneuverer and turn at high speed. It likes to fly high up but it will always come back home with its orb guiding it. It avoids touching the ground and likes to sleep on clouds.
 

Dragon: This traveling dragon has wings and a tail that shine like the tail of a comet.
Comet dragon travels through space from planet to planet. The crystals store magic energy that is emitted as colorful flames that are strong enough to propel it to the stars. it's flaming tail and wings can be seen streaking through the night sky when it flies by. The orb that hovers around it remembers all the places it has been to and guides it during travel. Comet dragon is curious and elusive, it will follow tamers from afar in the sky and watch them before making an appearance. They like to observe things from far away. If they are caught watching they fly away in a flash.

Story: Lonely Star
Comet dragon loved to travel and it could never grow tired of the stars and visiting new places. It had seen all kinds of sights, the good, the bad and the ugly. It wanted to see as much of the world as possible, the world was so vast! It made lots of friends but it rarely saw them after it left. It was a little bittersweet whenever Comet thought about them. It missed some of the places and the dragons it met. But it was already so far away, time flows slower for Comet in space. Comet knows that by the time it returns. The people and places it remembered will no longer be the same. It cherishes its memories and the time it spent. The only thing that is aware of its tears is the orb that always guides it to its next destination. Maybe it can make some new friends soon.
