Story

The Most Elusive Treasure

At the bottom of the sea, where all that is lost and forgotten live, a once-grand ship can be found. Though its planks have long rotted, and its sails have turned into algae-like mush, a great treasure is within.

An adventurer enters. Inside the ship are piles and piles of golden artifacts, no doubt worth a life's worth of money. But the adventurer seeks something greater.

He spots strands of gold and knows he has found what he is looking for! 

Rapunzel sits upon her throne of jewels and looks on in anticipation. At this, the adventurer offers it a beautiful necklace, heavy with its many diamonds.

“Please grant me my wish! My wife has grown old, please return her youth and beauty!” The adventurer pleads.

The dragon takes the offering and inspects it, then asks, “I see, what does she look like?”

The adventurer shows the dragon a picture of his beloved, framed in the locket around his neck. To his surprise, Rapunzel recoils and looks upset.

“Oh, why she's… gorgeous! M- more than I!” The dragon looks frantically at a mirror to its side, and combs its hair in a panic. It starts to tear up, and before the adventurer could say much else, all the treasure in the ship dissapears, and the dragon swims away at a speed he cannot hope to keep up with.
