Description:
Egg- This Egg is covered in jewels.
Hatch- It hoards all kinds of jewels and shiny objects.
Hatchling- Learning to differentiate jewels from other objects, it begins to dive for new jewels in the river and ocean.
Adult- The Jewel Dragon is the king of all jewel and gem hoarding dragons, considering them its lifelong treasure. It is particularly fond of pearls. It may rarely offer to trade something from its own hoard for a particularly valuable jewel it has not previously seen, but for the most part, it will never part with its hoard. The biggest hoards tend to cause problems for nearby dragons and Tamers alike, so Tamers must have sufficient space to raise this dragon.

Egg- This Egg is covered in several multicolored jewels. It shines brilliantly in the light and the shell is often used for display after hatching.
Hatch- The Hatch loves to collect shiny objects. It is so thorough that anything shiny must be hidden or else this dragon will find it and add it to its' hoard.
Hatchling- The Hatchling now distinguishes jewels from other objects, and returns the other shiny items from its hoard. However, it can find even hidden gems during this time- if gems are owned by the Tamer, they must be placed in a locked box the dragon cannot open.
Adult- The adult Jewel Dragon loves to dive for gems. It can spend weeks doing this, only emerging to manage or add to its hoard. It sometimes trades from its hoard to obtain jewels from other lands it has not seen before. Due to the jewels on its belly, it is also capable of searching for jewels on land, such as in caves.

It is said that if a jewel is stolen from a Jewel Dragon, you will make an enemy for life. Male Jewel Dragons have been known to actively seek vengeance, with only some thieves returning to tell the tale.

Story: 
One day, a Rafael and Purple Lips met. Once they produced an Egg, the Egg had more gems than normal. Puzzled by this, the two dragons decided to raise the new hybrid.

They quickly realized that the shell of the egg was only the beginning- shiny items were piling up everywhere, attracting attention in their den. They realized they needed to move before it became too dangerous, so they moved to a rocky coastline cliff with a one way entrance that was easy to defend.

Unfortunately, that den quickly became too small due to the jewel hoard- they carved out another den in the cliff for their Hatchling. But the hoard grew more and more. Soon, there were jewels nearly everywhere in the coastline.

It is said that these jewels were so vigorously defended by the dragons that no one dared to approach again. For this reason, the Jeweled Coast is a well known landmark in Yutakan.
