Upset by this, Omen turned to the gods for help to regain its former importance in the eyes of others, but the new  masters did not want to listen to the dragon, risking losing their followers. 
And soon, because of the uselessness, they abandoned it.
Struck by betrayal and persecuted by people, Omen escaped deep into the woods, trying to appeal to the gods again. However, because of its acquired gloomy reputation, no one wanted to have anything to do with it.
And when the dragon was completely desperate, the Goddess of Sorrow answered to its call. She offered it to become her guardian, promising a meaningful place near her.
The lost and abandoned Omen bowed his head, swearing loyalty to his new chosen Goddess.
Since then, it has become what it never was but always has been considered - the dragon of misfortune and disaster. Since then, it has had a new name - Omen the bad omen bringer.
