Egg:
This egg smells faintly like Strawberries.
It has a topping of cream and a strawberry on top of the egg.
Hatch:
This hatchling cant stop eating strawberries.
Hatchling:
You can find these hatchlings hanging around bakeries, cafes or anywhere with delicious desserts, looking to devour a nice sweet snack!
Adult:
Shortcake dragons have whipped cream looking tails and mane that is as soft and fluffy as cream ,but not actually made of cream! Their horns are also not real strawberries! After consuming many snacks and strawberries as a hatchling, they produce a sweet strawberry scent from their bodies and their white mane glitters in the sunlight like sugar crystals. They are friendly and get along with most
dragons but it may have some rivalry with other species of sweet smelling dragons. These dragons will always return to the place where they ate from when they were young. They are gathering dragons, and love to help with ingredient gathering because that means they also get to eat them. They have a strong sense of smell and use it to search for different ingredients, especially berries and dairy products.
Story
The eager gatherer
Shortcake dragon wakes up very before dawn to gather ingredients. It finds pride in bringing it's owner many delicious and fresh produce early in the morning before other dragons get to them. As it takes flight, the dragon cannot stop thinking about all the yummy treats it will be rewarded with. Equipped with its keen sense of smell and a basket for gathering, it heads into the direction of some fresh berries. The berries are still covered with morning dew, freshly ripened from the day before. It gently plucks each ripe berry by the stem, until it's basket is partially filled. Once the dragon is satisfied, it snorts in content and flies off to find the other ingredients, fresh milk, eggs, butter and more!
When shortcake dragon returns to its owner, it is treated to some warm milk and a nice compliment. It sits patiently for its afternoon snack made fresh by it's owner, once in a while pacing around the room from excitement. Some of the ingredients are kept for another day and some are used for the dessert. Luckily for this one, its owner is an excellent pastry chef!
