We are providing a detailed summary regarding the translation error that occurred following the April 9 (Thu) update.
▣ Issue Details
- During the April 9 (Thu) update, a patch applied to improve translation quality was not applied correctly due to an error, resulting in translation issues in some languages.
▣ Actions Taken
- Through a live patch on April 10 (Fri) 08:30 (UTC), the improvement patch was reverted to its previous state, and the situation has now been normalized.
- The translation improvement patch that was reverted will be reapplied after sufficient review and refinement at a later date.
▣ A Message to Our Tamers
- We applied this improvement patch in order to provide Tamers who enjoy Dragon Village Collection with more natural and higher-quality translations.
- However, an error occurred during the patch application process, causing translations to not display correctly in some languages and resulting in significant confusion and inconvenience during gameplay. We sincerely apologize for this.
- The situation has now been restored to its previous state through the live patch. However, we will take this as an opportunity to further strengthen our pre-release verification process and thoroughly improve our procedures to prevent similar issues from recurring.
- We will continue to work hard to provide a more stable and enjoyable service going forward.
