Developer Note - Guidance on Future Operations and System Improvement Directions

Hello, this is the Dragon Village 3 development team.
First, we sincerely thank everyone who cherishes Dragon Village 3 and shares valuable feedback for the game's continued growth.
The management team is taking the valuable opinions you have shared through many different voices very seriously. We deeply understand the disappointment and fatigue you have experienced, and we promise to improve the points you have requested in a smooth and reasonable direction.
We would like to share the specific direction for this below.
Improvements to the Paid Purchase and Reward Acquisition Structure
We deeply understand the fatigue and sense of deprivation many of you have felt from the permanent and limited-time probability-based rewards currently present in Dragon Village 3. To ease the structure's excessive reliance on luck, we are preparing the following measures and reviewing their implementation as soon as possible.
1. Expanding the Introduction of Pity and Adjustment Systems
As with the release of Paruparu, we will avoid reward formats with no guaranteed endpoint and actively introduce adjustment elements that ensure reasonable acquisition, such as probability pity systems or mileage points, into probability-based systems such as Breeding Rate-Up.
2. Improvements to the Rates for Pickup Target Dragons
Currently, Pickup Summons provide a guaranteed 50% chance among Legendary rewards, as well as a method to obtain the target through points. However, we have received feedback that there are still negative experiences when luck is extremely poor in summons. To ease this, in Pickup Summons, if the pickup target does not appear when you obtain a Legendary Dragon, we plan to introduce a method that increases the chance for the pickup dragon to appear the next time you obtain a Legendary Dragon. This system will be applied in August.
Improvements to Content Fatigue and Expanded Rewards
To ensure that Tamers receive reasonable rewards matching the effort and contribution they put into content, we will further subdivide reward ranges and expand benefits. We will also continue working so that there is no inconvenience when enjoying in-game content.
1. Guild War Reward Revamp
The currently ongoing Guild War Season 1 divides guild tiers into 20% intervals and assigns rewards according to each tier. We believe that setting appropriate rewards for guilds that participate more actively and cooperate more closely is a way to provide enjoyment that matches their efforts, and in the next season, we plan to further subdivide Guild War tiers beyond the 20% ranges and improve the reward system. In addition, Guild Championship content for top-ranking guilds is also being planned.
2. Improvements to Content Fatigue
When in-game content is created, many elements are considered to balance rewards for each player's effort with fun. These elements mainly include each individual's growth level (dragons, Gems, Orbs, etc.), skill (strategic team composition, understanding of content, etc.), participation, and luck, and these lead to a sense of reward for effort or investment, or joy and fun from skill and luck. We have received feedback that some content causes fatigue in reaching the desired level, and we will actively review whether there is a direction for improvement. However, we ask for your understanding in advance that some aspects may not be easy to resolve. Also, when creating new content going forward, we will conduct sufficient review to prevent excessive fatigue from occurring.
Establishing Policies for Event Operation and Product Information Display
We fully understand the inconvenience many Tamers have experienced regarding the provision of information for various events and products. Accordingly, we will take the following measures to improve these issues.
1. Disclosure of Detailed Event Information
In Dragon Village 3, various events such as Dit’s Forge and Fatigue Burning Event are continuously held. We have accepted feedback that it is inconvenient not to know information about all attainable stages and rewards for certain events, and we will review and take action as soon as possible on an interface that allows you to check reward information so you can plan your participation in each event.
2. Compliance with Advance Notice Principles
Through this Purchase Appreciation Event, many Tamers felt a sense of loss or disadvantage, and we failed to reflect the reward for the valuable affection and contribution you have shown us. Accordingly, as shared through a separate notice, along with compensation for purchases made before the Purchase Appreciation Event period, the “Royal Class Appreciation Event” will be held.
In addition, we will provide as much notice as possible on the schedules of important upcoming events so that Tamers can prepare sufficiently. Even if development schedule adjustments are needed, we will prioritize communication over forcing a release.
3. Sufficient Review of Product Information Display
Many Tamers raised questions about the efficiency of packages related to the Weekend Lucky Box. For that package, the value of the keys was determined based on the expected value of the Weekend Lucky Box rewards, and the package efficiency was calculated accordingly. However, because the number of attempts is fixed and, depending on each person's luck, the perceived efficiency may not reach the displayed value for many Tamers, the efficiency display has currently been removed.
We apologize to the Tamers who felt disappointed after purchasing the product through this series of events, and for cases such as the Lucky Offer Package where a gap may arise between perceived value and efficiency calculation, we will conduct sufficient review of efficiency displays in advance.
In addition, for Tamers who purchased the product when the package efficiency was displayed, additionally provided the same number of Lucky Keys as the Lucky Keys they purchased. We shared more details on this through a separate notice.
Dragon Village 3 was able to take a successful first step thanks to the warm interest and support of all Tamers. Taking this as an opportunity, we will do our best to restore trust with Tamers and create a healthier game that can be enjoyed for a long time.
Once again, thank you to all Tamers who have sent us your sincere feedback.
